Requirements[]

Method[]

Of Feathers and Flowers[]

Go to the northeast area of Tiquanda and talk to Tarun. Ask about the asuri and he will tell you that sometimes the vile demons in the palace visit a far away place. He's curious about it but don't dare checking it himself, so he asks for your help.

After accepting the mission, your goal is to explore the palace once again and loot three feathers:

In order to acquire them you need to kill three Asuri minibosess: The Flaming Orchid, The Moonlight Aster and The Winter Bloom. Note that you don't have to kill or loot the items if someone can lend you the items; having one of each feather is enough for any amount of players. You may bypass looting the Flamingo Feather and the Peacock Feather by purchasing these two items on the market place. However, the swan feather will not be the correct swan feather needed (from the market), therefor you will need to kill the Winter Bloom boss in order to loot the proper Swan Feather needed for the "Golden Hand Location" to appear properly.

All three minibosses are found within rooms behind sealed doors. To access them you need to kill non-asuri creatures in the palace. The requirements are:

Once you're done with these and have all feathers in hand, go upstairs and find an Ornate Case. Use it to get a Parchment then go downstairs towards Gilmak Copperbeard and ask him about the nagas. He'll tell you where to find three treasure chambers to build an artefact that grants you access to a portal high in the Kha'zeel Mountains.

The three parts of the artefacts are in the following locations:

NOTE - You will need to have the 3 feathers in your backpack inventory in order for the locations to appear and be opened on the floor.

Once you have the parts, simply use the items on each other until you have a completed Asuri Talisman Asuri Talisman. Finally, head to Kha'zeel Mountains between Tiquanda and Ankrahmun to step in the portal (here) where you'll then be teleported to Marapur.

Coastal Concerns[]

The Nagas at the coast may be in need of some help, but they'll only help you if they know you have good will.

Cure for the Beavers[]

Once in Marapur, head west from the Silvertides depot and talk to Dhira. Ask him for a mission and he will ask for your help to cure many giant beavers that help the island by harvesting and transportation. Accept the task and he'll ask you to gather a Moon Mint Moon Mint and a Coral Branch Coral Branch.

With both items in hand, walk to a building just south of the Silvertides depot, here. In the laboratory, use your Coral Branch in the Mortar Mortar located on a table west in the room and you'll obtain Coral Powder Coral Powder. Then go east and use your Moon Mint and Coral Powder in the Refiner of Magic Refiner of Magic. If done correctly you'll obtain a Cure for Sick Beavers Cure for Sick Beavers.

Report back to Dhira then head just north from him to talk to Nilavarna.

Hunt Foam Stalkers[]

Ask Nilavarna for a mission and he'll ask you to kill a total of 300 Foam Stalkers and Two-headed Turtles. Walk to the west island of the Stardance Mountains with a Helmet of the Deep or a Depth Galea, then jump in the vortex to Great Pearl Fan Reef once again.

With the 300 kills achieved, report it back to Nilavarna and he'll give you a new task to help Timira as she suddenly became irascible and aggressive. Go to the northeast subarea of Emerald Gardens to find a portal to the boss fight.

Timira the Many-Headed[]

Go to the small portal located in a house at the Emerald Gardens, here. This fight can be fought by up to 5 players, and you have 10 minutes to defeat Timira.

Stage 1 - Sparkles

On the first stage, you have to use the special water to heal the Shattered Water in the room. Pick up an Empty Bucket from the floor and wait until the water starts to glimmer. When it does, use the bucket on the water to fill it. Make sure you're next to the water or the bucket won't be filled. You should get a Bucket Full of Sparkles Bucket Full of Sparkles. Then, use the bucket on the Shattered Water on the eastern wall of the room.

While doing this, you'll constantly have to deal with Corrupt Nagas and Rogue Nagas, which quickly respawn in the room. You can try to block them or run around them or simply kill them while doing the mechanic.

If you get a Bucket Full of Water Bucket Full of Water by mistake, just empty the water on the floor so you can reuse your bucket. You have to use four buckets for each player in the room, but it doesn't matter who uses them. Once you're done, an energy effect will appear across the room. Then, click on the Trapped Water to use its energy to open the portal to the next stage. Enter the portal to the south. Make sure to open the Ornamented Chest near the portal for an extra reward!

Stage 2 - Corrupted Water

Similar to the previous stage, you have to use the trapped water to open the portal. This time, however, all you have to do is use the Corrupted Trapped Water until its cleansed and becomes Trapped Water, which you can use to open the portal. You can only use the corrupted water once every 30 seconds, so you'll have to deal with the Nagas while you wait.

Once the portal is open, make sure to open the chest to the north and move to the final room.

Stage 3 - Timira

Now you'll finally face Timira the Many-Headed! There are no mechanics here, and all you have to do is kill her. You can trap the boss in a corner north-west of the room to make the fight easier.

After killing the boss talk about your mission to Nilavarna. He will reward you with Colourful Water Lily.

Mountainous Matters[]

The Mountain Nagas also have some problems they need help with.

Fix the Observatory[]

Go southeast from the Moonfall subarea's depot and upstairs in a big building until you find Udu at the last floor (here). Ask her for a mission and she'll tell you she needs help with her observatory as something is blocking the water-powered mechanism downstairs in the same building.

Go downstairs until you find a water wheel. In this room, walk north to use the lever to slow it down, then use a Hammer Hammer on the water wheel to fix it and get a quest log update.

Report back to Udu, and continuing with the mission she'll ask you to find an important piece of her telescope, the Glass Lens Glass Lens, which was stolen by a moa and hidden in a nest. To find the nest, you have to go to the west part of Stardance Mountains, close to where prince Nihaka is, and use a Jungle Moa Nest located a bit south from there (here).

Bring the lens back to Udu, and as a part of the mission, she'll give you a Celestial Chart Celestial Chart. She'll ask for your help to find three constellations on her celestial chart: The Turtle, The Southern Crab, and The Smaller Rose. In order to chart these constellations, you'll have to visit the specific sites on the island and "use" your Celestial Chart, as described below:

Note: you can only chart the constellations at night!

Constellation Location Server Log
Turtle Within the Tides - Turtle Constellation
Here
You chart the Turtle constellation: Eight stars that form the shape of a two-headed turtle just over the Northern horizon.
Southern Crab Within the Tides - Southern Crab Constellation
Here
You chart the Southern Crab constellation: Sixteen bright stars that form a crab appear low on the Southern horizon.
Smaller Rose Within the Tides - Smaller Rose Constellation
Here
You chart the Smaller Rose constellation: Ten dim stars, rising from the Western horizon, form the shape of a rose.

Report back to Udu to complete the Observatory mission.

Stolen Naga Eggs[]

Note: To finish this mission you must have helped Udu, but also completed the Star-Crossed Lovers mission below. You should now jump to that part of the quest and return here once you have finished it.

Find Saraki (here) for a new mission. She will tell you the Asuri have stolen some naga eggs and ask you to talk to Kaumudi, the hatch-mother who is in charge of the eggs.

Kaumudi doesn't have much information to assist you. She asks you then to talk to shaman Vrisaki, so you can go straight to him.

Vrisaki is located on top of a mountain (here). Meet him and ask about the naga eggs. He will ask you three items to protect you from the Asuri on your search for the eggs:

With all 3 items go back to Vrisaki and use them on the Stony Face near him.

Secret Room[]

Talk to Vrisaki about naga eggs once more, he'll tell you about a vision and stolen eggs in a secret room deep down in the sunken temple of the Moon Goddess.

Bring the Gemmed Lotus Brooch Gemmed Lotus Brooch (from the Kusuma's room) and go to the second floor of the sunken temple. Use the brooch on wall here and then use the wall to enter the room.

Use the big stone located north in the room and you'll find a hidden Bag with Naga Eggs Bag with Naga Eggs there.

Bring the eggs back to Kaumudi and tell her about your mission. You'll receive a Naga Nest Naga Nest as a reward.

Return to Saraki at the mountain to report your mission success. She will ask you for help with Timira the Many-Headed. If you have already defeated her during the Coastal Concerns mission then you don't have to do it again. Just say mission once more to complete the quest.

Star-Crossed Lovers[]

Note: You should only start this mission after having finished Coastal Concerns and the Observatory part of Mountainous Matters, otherwise you won't be able to progress.

Go up the stairs twice in the coastal palace to find Candra, here. To help Candra and Nihaka get married you need to go talk with Candra first and ask for a mission. She says to talk with shaman Tarisu. He can be found on the temple south-east of Silvertides, here.

Talk with the Naga Shamans[]

Tarisu believes the people will benefit from this marriage. If you haven't started the Coastal Concerns mission yet, he'll ask you to first Cure the beavers. He also tells you to talk with Vrisaki, the mountain nagas' shaman.

Vrisaki can be found at Moonfall's temple, just north of the depot up 3 sets of ramps, here. He wants you to help Udu first, which means you also need to have started the Mountainous Matters mission.

After having helped both Udu and Dhira on the other missions, you can talk to Vrisaki and Tarisu once again. Depending on the order you did the missions, you may have to ask each NPC about mission twice.

The Four Good Omens[]

Each of the Shamans asked you for two good omens to prove that this marriage is not ill-fated.

Tarisu wants a vial of holy water from the pond on our cemetery island and a moonshine pearl. Vrisaki wants a coral vow flower and a damselfly.

Go up the ramp on the eastern side of the eastern ramp, here. Follow the path south-east until you find a Pile of Dry Wood Pile of Dry Wood. Use it to get a Splint Splint.

Then go back north and turn left to the other path of this passage, go south until you find a fireplace. Use the splint on it to make a Burning Splint Burning Splint.

Finally, go to a small island all the way north-east of Marapur, here, where you'll find a frozen pond. Using the Burning Splint on it to melt the water, and then use the water to receive a vial with Blessed Water Blessed Water.

To get this pearl, go to the eastern side of Marapur and down a vortex here. You'll need to wear a diving helmet. Use the Large Seashell (Moonshine) Large Seashell to get the pearl.

Note: If you're doing this mission with more players you'll have to wait 1 minute for the pearl to respawn for the other players.
Note²: Initially Tarisu will tell you the pearl is at the Temple of the Moon Goddess, where you'll find a Large Seashell (Shimmering) and a Shimmering Pearl. This is not the real pearl, however, but you can only take it during this mission of the quest. If you wish to have it, you should take it before the real pearl.

Go to Nihaka at the Mountain, here, and ask her about damselfly to get an empty Butterfly Conservation Kit (Empty) Butterfly Conservation Kit.

Use a Juice Squeezer Juice Squeezer on a Mango Mango to get a Flask of Mango Juice Flask of Mango Juice. Then use the flask on a Honeycomb Honeycomb to make a Flask of Mango Honey Juice Flask of Mango Honey Juice.

Go to the Big Naga Statue between Silvertides and Moonfall, here. Use the Honey Juice on the water of the pond to spawn some Emerald Damselflies, and use the Butterfly Kit on a living Damselfy to catch it. You should end with a Butterfly Conservation Kit (Damselfly) Butterfly Conservation Kit containing a Damselfly.

You'll need Foam Stalker Spume Foam Stalker Spume, which is a guaranteed drop from the Venerable Foam Stalker, a special Foam Stalker that can be found here.

With the spume, go to the mountain at the Murmuring Wilderness, here. Use the spume on the ground next to a Burnt Coral Vow Flower and pick the Coral Vow Flower Coral Vow Flower.

Return to Candra and give her the Pearl and the Blessed Water.

Go to Nihaka and give him the Damselfy and the Flower.

Kusuma[]

The final task is to defeat Kusuma, an Asura that was disguising herself as a Naga. You can find her on the western mountain, here. You can enter the room by stepping on the Energy Vein symbol near the wall.

After defeating her, open the chest and take the Gemmed Lotus Brooch Gemmed Lotus Brooch from it.

After that you can report back to Nihaka or Candra, you'll receive a Lilypad Backpack and the Wedding Planner achievement.

Of Feathers and Flowers[]

Player: hi
Tarun: Greetings!
Player: asuri
Tarun: I'm still mourning my lost brother, it's true. His untimely death still saddens me and makes me angry at the same time. I can't stop thinking about thoses vile demons who took his life. So I started watching them - from afar, of course. ...
Tarun: I guess they regularly visit some far away place. Perhaps they originally hail from there. Sometimes they are leaving the palace and are returning days or weeks later. And sometimes they don't. Return, of course. ...
Tarun: But I don't know, where they go exactly. At some point they just disappear right in front of my eyes. Perhaps they use a spell you can only trigger with something found in the palace? I'm not sure. And I don't dare to go there. ...
Tarun: But you, my brave friend, you have already been there and returned alive - other than my poor, unlucky brother. Perhaps you can go there again and find out more. Do you want to lift another of this foul palace's secrets?
Player: yes
Tarun: Great! I really wonder what those demons are up to.

Player: hi
Gilmak Copperbeard: Ha! You're still free, lucky you.
Player: naga
Gilmak Copperbeard: The nagas? Yes I've heard those perfidious hags talk about them. It seems that they bear a very old grudge against those nagas. Say that they expelled and exiled them from their home. Ha! Who can blame them? ...
Gilmak Copperbeard: As for the treasure chambers, I've overheard something that might be useful to know: To start the search for the first one, you must stand near a dragon skeleton at the tar seas in the Southern Darama Desert, holding a flamingo feather. ...
Gilmak Copperbeard: To find the second one you have to go to the island Folda. Start your search east of the mountains there, holding a swan feather. You may find the third chamber if you start searching north of the cemetery of Stonehome, holding a peacock feather. ...
Gilmak Copperbeard: Please don't ask me what's the thing with the feathers, I have no idea. But those feathers are special, not any feather will work. They are in the possession of the asuri princesses - the Flaming Orchid and the newly arrived Moon Aster and Winter Bloom.

Player: hi
Dhira: Greetings, two-leg.
Player: mission
Dhira: Yes, to be honest, there is something: We are keeping giant beavers as a kind of helpers and workers. They play a vital role in the harvesting and transportation of lily pads, star leaf and other plants we rely on. ...
Dhira: But now, many of them are sick and we need a cure. Would you help?
Player: yes
Dhira: Thank you! I already know what kind of ingredients are needed to brew a cure. But to get them ist the difficult task. First, you have to find moon mint, a very rare herb. ...
Dhira: It grows in only some few places on these isles. I'm not completely sure, where exactly, though. But you should search the Fading Isles, I guess. ...
Dhira: The second ingredient is a kind of coral that only grows in the Great Pearl Fan Reef. But caution: the foam stalkers don't like it if someone tries to take their corals away. ...
Dhira: Feel free to use the alchemy laboratory here in Silvertides to brew the cure.

Player: mission
Nilavarna: As I said, there is another problem. There are creatures living beneath this island who are more dangerous than parders or moas. Foam stalkers, a kind of elemental beasts, and huge two-headed turtles. ...
Nilavarna: Usually they stay in the reef caves of the Great Pearl Fan Reef. But lately they appear at the surface now and then. They already raided some small fishing stations and I'm afraid it won't stop there. ...
Nilavarna: Please dive down into the reef and get rid of some of them.

Player: mission
Nilavarna: Did you already kill some foam stalkers and two-headed turtles?
Player: yes
Nilavarna: Great! You rendered a great favour to our island. But there is one last thing. There is a naga who is - or rather was - a highly regarded philosopher and poet amongst the mountain folk and the coastal nagas alike. ...
Nilavarna: Her name is Timira. Not a mountain naga and not a coast naga either. She feels dedicated to both of our kind and somehow it works. Well, worked. She became an esteemed counsellor to even maharani Saraki and myself. ...
Nilavarna: Her wise advice really helped to soothe the tensions between Moonfall and Silvertides. But I'm afraid, this is also the reason of her downfall. She changed, you know. She suddenly became irascible and aggressive, and even her looks changed. ...
Nilavarna: She developed more and more animalistic, even beastly aspects, quite like the nagas who defile the sunken temple these days. Therefore I'm sure that the asuri are behind it. ...
Nilavarna: There is no other explanation for Timira's sudden change. But we can't give up on her. Please, try to save her! She secluded herself in a cave underneath the Emerald Gardens.

Timira: I'm so terribly sorry! I don't know what happened to me. I wasn't myself. Trapped in my own mind and body.
Player: Trapped

Candra: The fact that his mother is the mountain nagas' maharani doesn't help, of course. Neither that my father is our raja. We want to marry but our parents are not happy about it. ...
Candra: We need their approval but they won't listen to us. Would you help us?
Player: yes
Candra: Thank you! Perhaps a stranger can accomplish something we can't. I guess you should talk to our shaman Tarisu. His word carries weight in this matter. He might know what to do to convince my father.

Kaumudi: You are their hatch-mother now ... uhm, caretaker if you like. Please, take good care of our little ones, my friend.

Within the Tides Quest

Player: hi
Saraki: Greetings, traveller. May the Moon Goddess bless you.
Player: mission
Saraki: You saved our stolen eggs! Our precious babies! I have no adequate words to express how happy we are! But there is still this other problem I told you about, right? Timira. ...
Saraki: She is - or should I say was - a highly regarded philosopher and poet amongst the mountain folk and the coastal nagas alike. Yes, you heard me right. She is not a mountain naga and not a coast naga either. ...
Saraki: She chose to feel dedicated to both of our kind. A brave decision but somehow it worked. Over the years she became an esteemed counsellor to coast and mountain folk alike. ...
Saraki: Even raja Nilavarna and my humble self sought her advice which was always wise and long-sighted. She really helped to soothe the tensions between Moonfall and Silvertides. ...
Saraki: And I fear, this is the exact reason for the misfortune that has befallen her. She ... changed. She suddenly became irascible and aggressive, and even her looks changed. ...
Saraki: She developed more and more animalistic, even beastly aspects, quite like the nagas who defile the sunken temple these days. Therefore I'm sure that the asuri are behind it. ...
Saraki: There is no other explanation for Timira's sudden change. Please, could you look after her and perhaps help her? Save her, maybe? She secluded herself in a cave underneath the Emerald Gardens.
