Beware of the locations where can appear more than 3 together. Many players visit Folda to kill one Water Elemental for fun.
Abilities
Melee (0-162; Poisons you up to 3 Hitpoints per turn), Water Explosion (125-235), Ice Strike (88-150), Poisoning Ball (Poisons you up to 13 Hitpoints per turn), Self Healing, Haste.

Strategy
Stay away from more than one Water Elemental, because they can drop lots of Hitpoints in a single combo. When facing one, simply kill as a normal monster. Try run and shoot Energy-Based Attacks. Do not be afraid to use Thunderstorm Runes or Energy Wave when facing two or more. If you are a low level Knight, just run away. Since Summer Update 2009 they drop loot, which makes them more profitable. In order to get the loot, you have to fish them using a Fishing Rod by clicking the dead body, they always give loot, but they never give more than 1 loot item each time (the corpse vanishes after you "fish" it)
All vocations: Remember to bring your Helmet of the Deep when hunting these! It blocks 100% of their strongest attack, the water explosion. The heavy weight of the helmet will be easily compensated as it will save you from their most deadly combos. It is also recommended to wear a Silver Amulet, since you will be poisoned 95% of the time when hunting these
Knights: Stay away from these unless you feel like wasting to get fast exp. They are very resistant to physical and most of your hits will be sparks. If you need to hunt them take a powerful 2 handed weapon like an avenger and hit them in full attack. Skill rings are strongly recommended. Stay away from groups as you will waste a lot of potions for the mighty combos they deal. Even exori gran doesn't hit them for that much damage.
Sorcerers: Easy creature for mid to high level sorcerers with good magic level. Wand of Starstorm and exori vis will usually be all it takes to bring them down in no time. Alternatively use hmms to hit them from afar. They drop strong mana potions quite frequently, which will help you hunting for longer time. Full glacier set is strongly recommended, glacier amulet is not neccesary. You will need to heal after each hit to make sure you don't die to a combo

Gold Coin, Platinum Coin, Worn Leather Boots, Fishbone, Sword, Steel Shield, Life Ring (Semi-Rare), Strong Health Potion, Strong Mana Potion, Small Emerald (Semi-Rare), Small Sapphire (Semi-Rare), Energy Ring (Rare), Giant Shimmering Pearl (Rare), Goldfish Bowl (Very Rare), Rusty Legs (Common), Rusty Armor (Semi-Rare), Leviathan's Amulet (Very Rare).
