An upgrade from the Wand of Dragonbreath and the sorcerer's equivalent of the druid's Necrotic Rod. However, many sorcerers prefer to wait until they can use the Wand of Draconia, since at a lower level fire is a more useful element than death. Provides 2 sqm of green light. Wands of Decay replaced 
Wands of Plague in the Winter Update 2007.
