Venore is a city nested above a swamp in the southeastern corner of the Tibian Continent, here. Although belonging to the Thaian Kingdom, the laws of Venore do not prohibit gambling, and gamblers like Zebron can be seen gambling in public.
There were times when Venore was a criminal colony, and was known for the diseases around the area. This is no longer the case since a group of mages and druids drove poisonous insects away from the city. Before the Edron colony was established, Venore was a major source of wood needed for construction and tools.
Venore features its own speciality dress shop ("Dress for Success"), and the organization Agency of Venorean Interest Negotiators (AVIN). It is also the only city to have two Depots, one in the center of town, and one to the east near the bank.
Spiceweed, a type of grass that grows in the swamp surrounding the city is said to be used by cooks all over the continent, as seen in this book.

Hunting Places[]
Venore is also a dangerous place for inexperienced wanderers, because near to the west is located the Dragon Lair, more to the south west are the Plains of Havoc, which will be a deadly place for the unnoticed explorer. To the east Elves have an encampment, Shadowthorn. At the north, there is a sunken villa where there seems to be a Knight locked up. North from there we have Amazon Camp, a place with many Amazons, Witches and Valkyries... an excellent place to research on their behavior against strange people. But also in the south are some Swamp Troll Caves where you might even find undead and some rotworms.
