i am wondering if you and anyone else, when you have time, can review our recorded books and in the talk page make note of any mistakes. These are always bugging me so i'm going to find then report them all at once. (e.g. Talk:Kazordoon_Library) Thank you. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 18:36, 17 April 2006 (CDT) 18:36, 27 June 2006 (PDT)
No problem. I'll try and spend some time doing that today.
I went through the Ab'Dendriel Library and posted the things I noticed to the talk page.
As I think if it, I'll do some of the others for you.
I've looked at the tables in TibiaWiki, and it came to my mind, that what if there would be a table, that would show the experience to the level, but also next to the exp numbers everything that you would achieve in that level?
I'm not very good with this kind of things, but I just wanted to propose it.
It may be a little weird , but it would be easily read, and it could maybe be unique to every voc, and also showing the promotion stats with hp, mana and cap.
When I read this myself, I see it's a bit confusing, but it's just a raw illusion.
I see how this information would be useful, but I agree... it is kind of hard to read. If you think of a good way to implement this, go ahead. I'll think about it a little bit and maybe try some different formatting or something.
The article Thon Kynd should be deleted. It's a page about a tibia character.

I'm not usually active on the wiki over the weekend, so thanks for being on top of things and taking care of this DM!
We have to do something. It seems like Preview button is invisible for many users. They edit pages several times in a minute! o.0
I just posted a comment on a user's page and then i revised recent changes and there was another User with lot of editions...:o
PS: Stole your "Add Comment" link. Hope you don't mind :P
Of course I don't mind you using an "Add Comment" link on your talk page. It isn't mine anyway. I stole it from the wiki sidebar <<<<
About the preview button. That is simply a training problem. Some people would not know the function of a "Preview" button, especially since many users are not familiar with wikis.
I think the only solution is to be persistent in educating people on how to use wikis. That's part of our job as admins.
I'm not sure how many people read the "Tips" on the main page. But the preview button is a good idea for another tip to add (I'm running out of ideas anyway). Maybe I'll even make a tip about writing tips!
One thing that might help you, Lord de los Druidas, is to change your preferences. In your preferences, under "Recent Changes", check the box for "Enhanced recent changes". This will "fold" all the edits for a particular page into one line (you can click on the arrow to view the individual edits).
Since we can't really control how other people act when editing the wiki, this will make the recent changes a little easier for you to read.
Isle of the Mists
Sorry for the screenshot of the small emeralds >.< I took it when I did the quest, and that was before an update for some graphics. So the screenshot show the old emerald graphic : / I put that ss cause is what I have in my bp after do the quest, but I or someone can change it for new emeralds :P
No problem. I just didn't know what they were. I'll go ahead and make a quest page for it, if you want to fill in the information. I normally verify stuff like this myself, but I'm not a druid so I can't even go there.
Oki :) I'll try come back to the isle, cause i lost the book and can't remember what it say >.< And of course I can fill the quest page :)
Well, there's a new MediaWiki, and all the templates are messed...specially the Damage Calculator.

Thanks for letting me know. I was gone over the weekend, but today I found the problem, and posted it on the Bug Reports page. Erig has to fix it, though. Once he has fixed the parserfunctions script on the server, we will need to update every page that uses any of the parser functions (if, expr, ifeq, switch, ...) and add a pound sign before each of them.
I'll be happy to take care if it once erig updates the server. We need to be careful which ones get updated, since some of them are using the "if" template, and not the parser function. So if you do make any of those changes, be sure to preview the page before saving it.
Just too many of them, even when change is small or very small. Do they really need to be marked as "minor edits"? Jura
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Are you tired of checking the "minor edit" box?
If most of the edits you make are "minor", then change your preferences to save you some time.
Go to the Special:Preferences page, and under "Editing" there is an option to "Mark all edits minor by default".
This means that all your edits will be marked as "minor" unless you un-check the box before saving.
If I misunderstood what you were asking, please let me know.
- Incorrect edition of Macarena in Tracing Paper (This item is NOT obtained in Explorer Society Quest!)
- Incorrect edition of Macarena in xp of Orshabaal (Orshabaal have approximately 20,500 hp as this page shows.)
- Incorrect edition of Macarena in Sounds (Macarena disorganized this page, but Lord de los Druidas reorganized.)
Loots not confirmed:
- Loot of Demodras
- Loot of Dharalion
- Loot of General Murius
- Loot of Grarlam
- Loot of Necropharus
- Loot of Orshabaal
- Loot of The Evil Eye
- Loot of The Horned Fox
- Loot of The Old Widow
Thanks for the message, but I'm not sure that all of these edits are wrong. I certainly do not think they are malicious.
Just because a loot item is not confirmed does not mean that it is incorrect. All of the items that Macarena listed seem to be logical for those creatures, but I it would be nice to know how Macarena found out about them. Maybe he's been hunting bosses collecting information? I'll ask.
I do not know about the exp for Orshabaal, but the Tracing Paper does come from the explorer society quest. As a matter of fact, I have it right now and still need to go use it to get my next mission.
I was also a little confused about the Sounds page, but it looks like he was re-organizing them to match the order on the List of Creatures by Type and Experience Points page, instead of by type alphabetically. I do not know why he would think this was neccessary, but it wasn't really disorganized.
I do not think that these actions merit a ban from editing the wiki, but maybe some discussion before some of these edits were made would have helped.
