Attack Spells Graph

I just changed the attack spells table of the calculator. But you uploaded an attack spells grpahs table, now they aren't the same anymore.

I'm kinda playing around a little. These graphs and things are not particularly necessary, but I'm a visual thinker, so it helps me to be able to see the numbers.

I'm also working out a way to fix the problem of there being differences in the different tables. The strict table parsing in the wiki is both a blessing and a curse, so I'm trying to work around it as efficiently as possible. Hopefullly I'll come up with a good way to do it pretty soon.

Also, all of this damage info and user stats are just bonus... the true value of this wiki is in the main articles, so I'm trying to transition myself back into keeping the main wiki content current and accurate.

I saw what you was doing on the playground. The wiki sees the following as plain text:

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

But so does HTML.

(You can see an example of an html page containing this here (Think away the big banners on top & bottom) )

Also in HTML you need at least to put something like this:

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

Which will result in:

Table Cell 1 Table Cell 1 Table Cell 1

And I didn't see the TableRow page was used to insert in the Table page, sorry.

Yeah, the problem (actually a good thing in most cases) is that MediaWiki is very strict about entering tags. It does not allow Javascript or any html tags that it is not aware of... also, it will parse and "fix" any table and style codes. If you look right-click in your browser and do a "view source", you will see that it replaces:

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

Table Cell 1

<td>Table Cell 1</td>
<td>Table Cell 1</td>
<td>Table Cell 1</td>

This is done by the wiki, and forces the browser to view it as literal text, and not the HTML tags.

I was trying to find a way to only display the rows that were relevent to the given vocation, but it did not work as I had hoped. Instead, I had to separate the rows into separate tables so that they would be rendered properly. This works, but is not as efficient as I would have liked.

Age Calculator

I think you already expected me asking this:

Can yoou please help me? =]

If you look at my userpage I'm more than 33 years old, but says I'm almost 20.

Or Mad Rat is wrong, Or I'm wrong. Maybe you can have a look at it?

Edwin de waterman => Talk <= Profile ·_· Contribs <·> 15:33, 6 June 2006 (CDT) <·>

I'll take a look at it later, probably tomorrow.

You might notice the template I added called DATEDIFF... I got it from Wikipedia, and it might help.

Try using it to get the difference between "current date/time" and "date/time born"... then multiply it by 24 to get the number of Tibia days you are old (1 hour = 24 tibia hours, therefore 1 RL day = 24 Tibia days = 576 Tibia hours, etc.).

Just do the calculations to convert that number of days into years/months/days.

If that doesn't work, I'll take a look at it.

I already did that, actually it was the first thing I did. The outcome in tibian days can be found here. And I'm sure that that is correct since I checked it on many different ways.
Which means there is something wrong with the calculations from days to years, from years to daysleft, from daysleft to months and from months to days.

You can see an overview of the pages I used with the prefix index here.

The year calculation seems to work now, thanks to your help. Just the months & days are not right yet.

Skills calculation

I suspect the problem was that the page was cached in your web browser. If something like that happens again, force a re-load of the page (press CTRL+F5). This will make sure you are looking at the most recent version of the page.

Glad it is you!

Good thing it's you! I already feared you got hacked or something when I was viewing your experience history :)

By the way, congratulations for getting back more than all of the experience you lost in four days straight.

06 Jun 2006	+169,172	201	60	3,326,779
07 Jun 2006	+159,809	193	61	3,486,588
08 Jun 2006	+165,600	189	62	3,652,188
09 Jun 2006	+160,784	176	63	3,812,972

What were you hunting?! In those four days, you gained more than in the rest of the month altogether!

Thanks for the concern, Mathias. It was just a series of unfortunate events that lead to my demise. As far as I can tell, in order to get hacked you need to do something stupid (like using a macro program, giving someone your account number/password, or entering your account/password into a "bad" website. I care about my accout too much to do something stupid like that.

About my level, many thanks goes out to the knight who blocked for me to get my experience back, and the true friends that donated runes and fluids to help me. Hopefully I will be able to pay all of you back ten-fold.

Power-gaming gets very boring very fast. I would much rather be exploring, group hunting, or going on quests.
