Quest Items?

I saw the Lizard_Urn.gif got deleted. There is such an item in game, it is one of the items for the Explorer Society quest.

Should there be another category of Items that are questies that are acquired briefly and then turned over to an NPC to be able to continue the quest? (like the lizard urn, cookbook, tear of daraman, poetry book, whisper moss, etc etc?)

I'd love to add some of these, but I'm not sure where to put them; they are not strictly decorative.

I see that Lizard Urn now is called Funeral Urn... I don't understand why since is called Lizard Urn as part of the ESQ.

Maybe you can explain what was this change for...

It is def. "Lizard Urn" as part of the explorer quest... it's function is a funeral urn, but when you look at it it says "lizard urn."

Hopefully this will clear things up.....

  • The item itself is called a "Funeral Urn":
21:29 You have found a funeral urn. Weighing 100.00 oz it is too heavy.
  • On the spoiler page, the mission title is "Lizard Urn" because that is what Angus calls the mission. It is an urn...with the lizards, I guess:
22:05 Angus: The missions available for your rank are lizard urn, beholder secrets and orc powder.

I could have sworn it was Lizard Urn... but I'll be damned if I go back through the Explorer Quest :D

Me too (I uploaded the lizard_urn.gif image). I don't think they change from world to world, but it could be.

Some friends of mine will make the mission. I'll ask them to put a tibicam or take screenshots to clarify this... </confused>

--Kaio 18:26, 1 March 2006 (CST)

Sounds good. I save all my logs, but I didn't have screenshots. The line above was taken directly from my log, so unless it has changed in the last week, or it is different between worlds, this is correct.

If you guys get screenshots or something that is different, we'll have to figure out how we're going to notate it to accommodate the differences.

Why are you using ; (semicolon) to separate the sounds? All the others fields have , (commas) to list several items.

I think it should be , since all the sound are quoted to avoid confusing with commas in the sounds or phrases.

--Kaio 23:27, 10 March 2006 (CST)

Comma is fine. I was just trying to think ahead a little bit. If Erig updates the MediaWiki software, then we might have the ability to do some extra processing in the templates, which would not work with a comma.

You can go ahead and use commas, I have no problem with that, and you are correct, the other lists in the templates use commas.

I would like to know who is "the brown haired sleeping beauty" in mines under Kazordoon. Maybe you already saw her, if not, she is in a room with 6 or 7 Dwarf guard and a witch. She is behind a locked door...

Thank you for your attention,

P.S. Do i have to come back here to see your answer?? I give you my email I don't know very well this program...

Boucledor, march 17

The "dark haired beauty" in that room is not a real player. It is only a reference to the book/play/movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves". Disney has released the most common version of this story as an animated film.

The "dark haired beauty" (as mentioned on the Allusions page), is supposed to be Snow White from this fairy tale.  C'est la fin des hericots

My Absence

Sorry for my absence over the last few days. I was distracted by real-life issues, not that anyone noticed or cared. Just thought I would let you all know that I'm back.

Revert the edition of Hermelien21 for last version of Hunter of Dragoes, in Magicthrower, please!

I reverted the edits that changed the name. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

The other edits by this user seem to be fine, this one looks like it was just a small mistake.
