They're admins with recruitment powers; a bureaucrat can promote others' to adminship, rollback etc. -- Sixorish 17:43, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

work of bureaucrats

Thanks for the answer about what is a bureaucrat, untill now i supposed it was some kind of retirement from the admin job, because in my country the word bureaucrat is synonymous to don't work much and the public workers have this bad fame here, not that i agree with it.
I know the word bureaucrat in real means public workers, but here it have also a pejorative meaning--Maguu 18:02, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Left you a message on my own talk page,

Temahk 18:34, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Rollback won't work unless someone else has edited the page you're trying to use it on. It reverts every edit by that user in the history, until it comes to where someone else has edited. For example: if I rollback Bennie's edit on the main page, it will revert to the last revision which someone else made an edit. In this case, I made the edit on Jan 15. -- Sixorish 22:59, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip, it is nice to find out new things. I searched a bit on wikis and found out rollback saves 2 cliks and the time to load 2 pages when need undo something. Interesting feature allow users to undo edit faster than edits are manualy done. I tryed use it few times in my pages and satisfied my curiosity cheking out the deny messages, haha. Also, that came in good time, cuz i ll problably become a much more active user now with the feature Temahk created, that wesbite makes a hard job of creating and compiling statistics very pleasant, so while i create new loot statistic will keep an eye in vandals. Just by curiosity if this info can't be used by bad users, i would like to know if it was planned that since 4 or 5 days ago i haven't need to preview before edit pages. I checked everywhere here and didn't find any change in my user rights untill today when bennie replace beejay n me with rollback rights. But since 5 days ago i didn't need to preview, maybe a effect from the js scripts pasted by Sixorish3/monaco.js or a sideeffect of normal users name like "Temahk", "Kwigon the sharpshooter", "Beejay" and "Nevaran" been there too?--Maguu 23:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Uh, the JavaScript code on MediaWiki:Common.js has errors and doesn't work as it should right now. I was going to revert the change but right now I'm not sure: Kwigon and such will lose their 'bypass ability' if it is reverted. It will probably be reapplied when Kwigon gets rollback rights. -- Sixorish 23:34, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

I was curious because my name wasn't there and i didn't have to preview, i was wondering if all wiki users didn't need to preview anymore, i asked thatb4 get rollback rights in this page(, but i guess that nom harmfull feature is not worth the headache of analise such scripts. Maguu 23:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Don't trust much warlockmortimer edits on monster damages, he tends to A: Use full rare set to test max melee damage, B: Confused melee+life drain combo as 1 attack, and other flaws more, I have re-edited some of his edits in the past. For example I added that banshee hits life drain (from close only) like 400 and he undo it like 10' times.
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 01:33, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

I noticed his edits don't make sence, i wish i could record my hunts to get good pics showings the damgaes from monsters to he stop doing edits that just misslead readers. --Maguu 02:50, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Creature pages

Do you mean it's slow to load them, or submit a change? If the latter, it's because the creature template loads a DPL list, which can strain the server at peak time. If it isn't that, I have no idea, because they load fine for me. -- Sixorish 05:17, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

When i cliked in history, to undo the new edit i had done in the "talk to medusa loot statistic" after 10 minutes the page was still white. I tryed to do it for like 1~hour untill i quit the idea. But if i closed internet explorer and open again i could open the pages instantly. Except to see pages history and submit changes.--Maguu 12:58, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Wikia took a server out of production yesterday and reinstalled it. After the reinstallation, it came online with the wrong IP. They had 2 machines with the same IP address, which caused conflicts. One of these was blank pages. It was fixed around 11am CET today.

Temahk 13:12, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Interesting, it was extremely strange pages usd to take up to 10 minutes to load and then it was white lol.
By the way i found out why i received that 404 error in your website the other day. Somehow i cliked in the link u posted and it end in .txt. then i added it to favorites, and then it looked like the correct page. but had many lines in the bottom with many strange symbols. Now i realised the correct page end in php. That is why the page didn't work even after refreshing it, hehe. Now it is working very well.--Maguu 19:52, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Nah anything that you have to download that is tibia related and unsupported can get you hacked. PS: you forgot to sing in my talk page XD go do it XD
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 05:48, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

thanks for reporting polaxos, I'm new at this and freaked out when I saw that he was posting hacklinks at every page he could, as I don't know what to do at this situation.

Thanks again

why you deleted my interesting info? :/

well, my information are really 100% real. i know caban very well and i always wondered why noone put him into wiki. i think this point about caban is much more interesting than this one on honera page with the richest player on honera with only 45kk..., also caban is thief but he only uses legal tricks, he was a former lurer also but most of his cash comes from relfex tricks. its amazing that its possible in tibia to get such a giant wealth with so small lvl. hes also cash seller but i didnt mention it. just google him lol.

and about pskonejott [2007 not 2006 sorry]:

i know that guy who did it, hes polish and he ran away to England after selling 3 bilions of gold for real cash to one of american cash selling sites [he hired 6 people to help him clean accounts and sell items and cash], i thinks its important info because this site was really dangerous for couple of weeks.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Celebrities (talkcontribs). Well, of you really think this info is relevant to wiki, i would advice to provide some screens if possible or just link to somewhere to make it look more substantial. You can do that on the talk page to don't spoil the stetics of the article. Sorry if i missinterpretated your edits, i will not interfer on it anymore, please re-do what you think you should. item prices

User:Shaylevi2 edits are not that a big a deal and do not seem to be made with the intent of vandalism, despite his history. Many people do not read a page history with edit summaries nor do they look at recent changes and understand technicalities of how wikis work. In these cases people do not always think of other servers when putting prices down, so consider all people's edits to be in good faith unless vandalism is obvious. I left a message explaining prices to him. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 04:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok, i will keep in mind the good faith of ppl when they write something. Maguu 09:02, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Behemoth/Loot Statistics

Jeremias Xuvisco thinks your statistics are from pre-8.5, but your edit timestamp seems to state otherwise. Could you check this edit out? -- Sixorish 22:18, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

reverted his edit. I noticed most pages with loot statistics did not have rferente to the versiont were aquired, unless it had also statistics from older versions, so i won't add the version unless a update change loot frm monsters. Maguu 22:53, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Loot Statistics

As far as the loot stats go nothing should have changed in the last patch. And incase you didn't know about it, check the Loot Statistics, we have our own uploader now! :) Beejay 12:21, September 11, 2010 (UTC)

Continuing from the last message I sent you, I also left a message for you on Loot Statistics talk:Banshee. Please upload them as 8.6 instead of 8.7, thanks! Beejay 01:55, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply, I have been quite busy of late. My reason for messaging was to explain about what was going on with the new version and about the loot statistic parser. The best place to suggest changes about the version would be on Talk:Loot Statistics. It seems as though we are sticking to using the version 8.6 and changing the % drop rate for items which were added since the date of the update. Although I am unsure when this change to accommodate the new loot and its percentages will be done. Beejay 18:18, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

Just the wheel loading is a sign that JavaScript is not functioning. What have you tried to get the loot statistics parser to work? Some diagnostic questions:

  1. Are you using an outdated skin (e.g. Cologneblue)?
  2. Are you using an outdated version of your browser?
  3. Do you have JavaScript disabled in your browser settings? (the parser requires the use of JavaScript)
  4. Do you have an extension like noscript (for Firefox) active which could potentially interfere with the script?

If you are using Firefox:

- To find out for #3, go to your browser settings (for Firefox: Tools > Options > Content (tab), > ensure "Enable JavaScript" is checked.

- For #4, copy this: firefox.exe -safe-mode " Statistics" Then close your browser completely (killing firefox.exe if necessary), go start > run > enter 'firefox.exe -safe-mode " Statistics"'. This will load Firefox in safe mode and your extensions will be disabled temporarily (or permanently if you check the boxes during execution). If the parser works after this, then one or more of your customizations (most likely your extensions) are interfering with JS.

I can't really answer for other browsers, but it comes down to either browser compatibility or JavaScript load issues. -- Sixorish 05:06, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

I just saw this, I'm used to empty my cache often and I encountered the same problem as you did, it was a change on the Wikia engine that didn't allowed us to load outfiter, loot statistics parser and mapper scripts correctly, I made a fix already. Try empty your cache and try the parser again, it should work now. --Daniel Letalis 05:16, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
