That's one of the issues with a wiki, and also why the mainpage is locked to only allow admins to edit it. In my experience, administrators of various systems are knowledgeable enough to avoid the common pitfalls that would allow their account information to be compromised. This was an unfortunate exception, but I am optimistic that it will not happen again.

I do not know the circumstances that allowed his wiki account to be compromised. It may have been someone with physical access to his computer, or he may have unwittingly installed some kind of virus/keylogger/trojan horse... it is all speculation at this point, but let this be a lesson for all wiki users to protect their computers and account information!
