Changes unknown or unspecified.
Tibia began as a school project by a few students at the University of Passau and they continued to develop the game afterwards. In the first few years they made several versions of the game but did not sufficiently maintain records of changes. In the process of leaving university they found a new host for the game servers and website and developed a new client. From version 6.0 and going forward they have maintained data regarding updates but anything that existed in-game before version 6.0 is considered "Pre-6.0".
Changes
The first lands in Tibia were those that are around modern Thais, from Greenshore in the north to the Cyclops Camp in the south and the land west of Mount Sternum but not including it. There were also the islands of Rookgaard, Calcanea, what is now the Adventurers' Guild, Fibula, Meluna known as "Faeries Haven", and an unnamed island west of Meluna.
Thais was the first city built with some of the same buildings and structures that are there today like Rain Castle, depot, temple, church, graveyard, lighthouse, and several shops and houses.
In a short time the town of Rookgaard was built on the island bearing it's name and the village of Fibula also erected and the town of Carlin followed.
While there were many creatures roaming the land some lived in caves and dungeons under ground and others above ground in new areas like the Ancient Temple, Cyclops Camp, Mount Sternum, Fibula Dungeon, Plains of Havoc, and Elvenbane.New Quests
