Changes
- Skinning and Dusting will become possible instantly upon killing a creature (inspired by this proposal).
- A global depot with 17 city-specific boxes accessible from every individual depot will be implemented (inspired by this proposal).
- The character world transfer process is becoming simpler and less restrictive.
- An arena system will be implemented, making it possible to have PvP-fights for fun without suffering a death penalty.
- Depots are now global.
- Each Depot Chest will contain 17 Depot Boxes which each correspond to a different city's depot. You can open all of them from any Depot. This also applies to Depot Chests found in Guildhalls.
- The depot, as in all 17 Depot Boxes, can store a combined total of 2,000 items (Free Accounts) or up to 10,000 items (Premium Accounts).
- Travora will exist solely as a platform to facilitate Character World Transfers. The depot on the island is to be removed, but the depot itself will exist in every other town as Depot Box XIII.
- True Heart of the Sea: no longer transitions from red to blue automatically, but instead must be used to cause the change.
- Seven high level hunting grounds, one for each of The Ruthless Seven. The Seven are not encountered in these dungeons, but a strong minion will make its presence.
- An entirely new desert island north of Oramond called Krailos and inhabited by fierce Ogres.
- Several Dungeons of seven new members of The Ruthless Seven Minions:
Further announced for the same patch on December 16, 2015:
- Lowered the cooldown after an arena fight to 15 minutes.
- Addressed an issue with shared experience that allowed party members to receive loot from bosses in the Ferumbras' Ascension Quest even if they did not take part in the actual fight against the bosses.
- Fixed an issue with Mazarius in the Ferumbras' Ascendant quest that led to an incorrect quest log entry.
Further announced for the same patch on January 12, 2016:
- Fixed a problem with player deaths in arena fights incorrectly counting as unjustified assisted kills.
- Addressed an issue with the Revolt of the Goblins Quest, the mission A Holy Weapon should now be repeatable.
- Further addressed an issue with the Blood Brothers Quest, using a Blessed Wooden Stake on the corpses of Boreth and his brothers should now give you the needed quest items.
- A broken lever in the Realm of Dreams Quest was fixed.
- Trading via the context menu should now also be possible in the depot on Krailos. Also, players should no longer be able to fight with each other in this depot.
- Prevented a repeatable use of the painted gourd rattle in The Great Hunger Quest.
- Fixed a couple of further map errors.

Travora and Character World Transfers
As a side effect of the globalization of depots, Character World Transfers are less restrictive:
- All items in all depots will now be transferred, not just those in the Travora depot (XIII).
- Players can now transfer any amount of any item.
- The limit of 1,000 items is to be removed.
- The limit of 1 unit of a single item will be removed for all items which have such a restriction.
- Travora as we know it will disappear and be replaced by nothing but a ship and a connected platform.
Arena System
Player-versus-player Duelling Arena will be added to Ankrahmun, Kazordoon, Thais, Edron and Rathleton. They will only be available to players with a premium account.
- Each arena fight will be set up by one initiator. By talking to an NPC he picks a battle type and sets the details.
- There are time limits for fights and the waiting periods.
- After a fight, participants are blocked from fights for some time before they can battle again.
- During the waiting period, players can decide against participation by leaving the waiting area. The only way out of a battle, though, is either death, victory, or a battle time out.
- PvP features like friendly fire will match the PvP options of your game world type. However, all kills in an arena will be justified. An arena death does not count as a frag in guild wars, and the usual death penalty will not be applied in arena fights.
Before fights, players will have to choose a battle mode. There are two different types:
- Last Man Standing
- The initiator determines an entrance fee and how many players will fight.
- He is teleported into a waiting area, other players will follow him manually. The battle starts when enough players have arrived.
- All participants are teleported into the battle ground to fight against each other.
- The entrance fee will be deducted from the bank accounts of participants.
- The fight lasts until only one character is left.
- The winner gets all the money that was deducted from everybody in the beginning, the losers will have lost the money but nothing else.
- Team Deathmatch
- The initiator sets the entrance fee, the team sizes, and enters the character names for each team.
- The two teams will gather in the waiting area, each team in a separate room.
- When everybody on the team lists has arrived, all participants are teleported into the battle ground to fight.
- The entrance fee will be deducted from the bank accounts of participants.
- The fight lasts until only members from one team are still alive.
- The money that was deducted from everybody in the beginning will now be divided equally and automatically among all members of the winning team, regardless of whether they died during the fight or not. The members of the losing team will have lost the money but nothing else.
- In this mode, specific 1 vs 1 fights are possible. To duel your friend, just set the team size to 1 and enter your friend's character name on the opponent list at the NPC.
