This Update was released on June 5, 2013.

Effects on gameplay

Optional PvP players

  • Magic Walls and Wild Growth on optional PvP are now colored yellow.
  • Spells can be used through magic walls, unless the walls are your own.
Note that shortly after the 10.0 update this was bugged and players could not shoot (damaging) effects through magic walls of others'.
  • You can no longer walk over Wild Growth or Magic Walls of your own, but you can walk over others'.
  • Magic walls can no longer be destroyed.
    • However, as stated above, it will only affect the person who shot the magic wall.
  • Players can kill their own summoned and convinced creatures by selecting the yellow hand mode. The dove mode and white hand mode will not allow you to kill them.

Open PvP players

  • 4 new PvP Modes were added (see combat controls). These different PvP modes determine what actions you can perform.
    • DoveModeOn Dove Mode
You can attack/block only characters that have attacked you.
    • WhiteHandModeOn White Hand Mode
You can attack/block only characters that have attacked you or a member of your guild/party.
    • YellowHandModeOn Yellow Hand Mode
You can block only characters marked with a skull.
You can attack only characters marked with a skull if they are not in your guild/party.
    • RedFistModeOn Red Fist Mode
      You can block every character.
You can attack every character if they are not in your party/guild.
  • If the player is in a guild, they will receive a shield next to their name.
    • The Golden Shield is on your character and all other characters in the same guild as you.
    • The Silver Shield is on all characters not in your guild but are still in a guild.
  • If the player has 5+ guild members or party members online right now, they will receive a "dangerous" (red lightning bolt) symbol by their name.
  • Players will receive a frame around their character if they are engaged in PvP.
    • Yellow frame indicates they (or you) are involved in an active PvP situation.
    • Orange frame indicates they have attacked a member of your party or guild (but not you).
    • Brown frame indicates they are in a PvP situation you are not involved with.
  • Summons will receive a Bat next to their name.
    • Green Bat indicates they belong to you.
    • Red Bat indicates they belong to someone else.
  • Players whom are in a party that you are not a member of will recieve a Grey or Faded Party Shield.
  • You can no longer heal monsters.
  • You can no longer swap with players when surrounded and being attacked.
  • You can shoot and heal through magic walls that are not yours, so long as you don't have a yellow frame.
  • Black skull:
Players with a black skull can now summon and convince creatures.
Players with a black skull cannot select the 'Red Fist' PvP mode. This ensures they do not engage in unjustified PvP acts.

Hardcore PvP

  • Hardcore PvP players are forced into Red Fist Mode (see Open PvP players above).
    You can block every character.
You can attack every character if they are not in your party/guild.
  • You can no longer heal monsters (same as on open PvP).
  • You can shoot through magic walls so long as you don't have a yellow frame.
