One of Uman's greatest inventions is a crystal column, known as the fundament on which creation is built. Interestingly, in Tibia, this crystal column appears to move faster than in the "real world."
The time conversion in Tibia is as follows:
- 2.5 seconds = 1 Tibian minute
- 2.5 minutes = 1 Tibian hour
- 30 minutes = 12 Tibian hours
- 1 hour = 24 Tibian hours
You can check the current time in Tibia by asking an NPC or by using various time-keeping items such as a Cuckoo Clock, a Pendulum Clock, a Sundial, a Very Noble-Looking Watch, and a Watch.

With the Summer Update 2017, the day and night cycle was extended both graphically and mechanically, especially in the new area of Feyrist. In this region, the environment changes throughout the day, and certain NPCs and Creatures are only visible during specific parts of the cycle. The day and night cycle also plays an important role in several missions of the Threatened Dreams Quest. To make it easier for players to determine whether it is day or night in Tibia, the Compass Rose, which used to be located next to the minimap in the client, was changed to display an image representing the time of day.
In Tibia, it is considered to be Day from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, which corresponds to hh:15 to hh:45 in real life. Consequently, it is Night from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, which in real life means from hh:45 to hh:15.
