Bone Overlord[]

Bone Overlord On the fight against the Bone Overlord, the goal is to destroy the Bonelord's Phylactery Bonelord's Phylactery, but this Phylactery will only appear after all four Myzareth's Soulcage Soulcages in the room are destroyed.

Upon entering the room, four different Soulcages can be found, each linked to a different Myzareth's Spirit dragon Spirit and a different Special Condition that is randomly applied to all players in the room during the fight: Feared Feared, Rooted Rooted, Paralyze Slowed, and Drunkenness Drunk. Players must be aware and ready to handle any of these at any time during the fight. The dragon Spirits are one of the sources for these conditions, but not the only source.

The dragons Spirits are immune to all damage, but their Soulcages can be killed, and their HP pool is shared. It is important to not let a dragon Spirit near its Soulcage, or the Soulcage can heal up to 5,000+ per turn. At some points when the HP of the Soulcage is lowered, the linked dragon Spirit will teleport to it, making it harder to avoid the healing. Players can block the spots where these teleportations happen, making the fight easier by not having the Soulcages heal.

Throughout the whole fight, the Bone Overlord targets players (the targeted player will see a message: The bonelord gazes!) and triggers one of multiple additional mechanics:

Effect Message Description
Bone Barrier THE BONELORD DISPLACES YOU! The target will be teleported to a separate room, where players must break these Bone Barriers (10,000 HP) to clear the path to the teleport that brings them back to the main room.
Since these barriers respawn, players can block the respawn point, causing them to spawn on a nearby position, which might not block the way.
An Eye AN EYE IS CAST ON YOU! An Eye will spawn near the target. After a few seconds, the Eye explodes in an area, dealing 30% of each player's maximum HP as Agony Agony Damage.
Multiple Eyes can be summoned at the same time in the room.
Wraithfire THE BONELORD CASTS WRAITHFIRE AT YOU! Wraithfire will be cast under the target's feet. This deals 15% current HP as Agony Agony Damage.
Teleport Effect THE BONELORD DRAINS YOU! A Mana Drain over time is cast on the target, causing them to lose 5% maximum mana every 2 seconds, for 5 turns.
Fireball Effect THE BONELORD CURSES YOU! A curse spell is cast on the target, which will cause them to explode in a small radius for Physical Damage Physical Damage every 4 seconds, for 4 turns.
This explosion can damage other players.

Player: hi
Drunken Sailor: Hrrrh! Another fool wantin' to walk the ice? Then listen up, lubber!
Player: listen up
Drunken Sailor: Them rat-men <hic>! Damn pirats they are. They got cannons on that cursed ship. Wanna crack the dragon's hoard in the ice, but the cold 'n' the horrors won't let 'em. So they fire at anything that moves. Even ya.
Player: ice
Drunken Sailor: The ice'll trick yer legs, lad! Makes ye stagger 'n' stumble like ye downed a whole barrel. <hic>! Don't fight it, the frost makes drunks of us all!
Player: drunks
Drunken Sailor: Best cure fer the cold is a good swig o' rum. Warms the bones, steadies the knees. Ye'll dance on the ice like a madman. But without it, yer blood'll freeze and ye'll die.
Player: die
Drunken Sailor: If ye want that hoard, matey, outlast the cold, the cannons, an' the critters. Then maybe ye'll live to drink with me after. <hic>!
Player: hoard
Drunken Sailor: I've given up on that. Ol' bones are too stiff for that kind of dance.

The Roost of the Graveborn Quest

S'Zallar M'Andar: Human! The ancient spirits are in unrest.
Player: unrest
S'Zallar M'Andar: I have felt tremors in the spirit wind. Whispers, cold as moonlit stone, rising from the dragon graveyard. The ancestors there do not rest. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Something stirs their ancient souls. Such unrest is not born without cause. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: I hunted the cause to its root, but the root lies beyond my reach. But here my travels came to an end. The source seems to be at a place that I can't visit, beyond a threshold I cannot cross. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: The dragon cemetery is a place most sacred. Its bones are heavy with ancient breath, and we, the scaled children, dare not tread upon that hallowed ground. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: To us, its silence is forbidden. Only echoes of wrath linger there. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Yet shadows coil amidst the graves. Sinister forces stir, where none should dwell. Something desecrates the slumber of the old dragons. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Are you willing to assist me in my quest and travel where the scaled children can't? Yes or no?
Player: yes
S'Zallar M'Andar: Take this totem. Through it, the elder spirits may heed your call, and through it, you may speak to me, wherever your steps may lead. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: It is a vessel of communion, a bridge across realms. Guard it well, for it is both your voice and mine. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Should you misplace the totem, I may weave another. But every carving saps my strength and the essence of rare offerings. You must repay what is spent. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Go, tread upon the bones of the mighty, and learn what disturbs the spirits of the old dragons. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: Before their wrath bleeds into our world.

The Roost of the Graveborn Quest

Dragon Ancestor Spirit: This one knows you came here for the disturbance of the spirit world!
Player: spirit
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: Listen, mortal. This one shall speak but once: ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: The spirits of the dragon graves whisper...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: but their voices are broken, chained. This is the work of one who binds life and death alike. ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: Every great dragon bound its essence to a place, a hoard, a relic of its might. Seek these places, for only through their tokens may the spirits be freed and cleansed. ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: Even weakened by the relics, the graveborn will strike as storms of spirits and death. Do not mistake them for mere shadows of their former selves. ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: The puppeteer behind this desecration hides in bone and darkness. Deep beneath us, I feel his sinister doings! ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: He can only be defeated, if he is denied the souls he has stolen and bound. ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: The soul-essence of the ancients Myzareth, Zharvorin, Elyrax and Scarith is at stake. ...
Dragon Ancestor Spirit: Now leave! This one has spoken.

The Roost of the Graveborn Quest

S'Zallar M'Andar: Ah, the unscaled adventurer! I know, you are here to talk about our mission or have you lost your talisman?
Player: mission
S'Zallar M'Andar: You are now prepared to face the vile necromancer. Imbued with the souls of the ancients, you should be able to free them from whatever the necromancer has trapped them in. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: I prepared my canoe with ancient magic, to find its way through the spirit mists that shroud and protect the isle.. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: If you are ready to face the threat, just ask me for a passage.
Player: passage
S'Zallar M'Andar: Do you want to use my canoe for a passage to draconia? Yes or no?
Player: Yes
S'Zallar M'Andar: Safe travels.

The Roost of the Graveborn Quest

S'Zallar M'Andar: Ah, the unscaled adventurer! I know, you are here to talk about our mission or have you lost your talisman?
Player: mission
S'Zallar M'Andar: You vanquished the eldritch necromantic evil! The ancestor spirits are at peace once again. I am grateful for what you accomplished on my behalf. Please allow me to grant you a reward.
Player: reward
S'Zallar M'Andar: I will grant you one of the vile necromantic runes, that I found in my quest. The dragon ancestor on the cemetery might reward you for its destruction. Are you ready to receive it? Yes or no?
Player: Yes
S'Zallar M'Andar: Here is your reward, my unscaled friend and with it come the boons of the ancestors. ...
S'Zallar M'Andar: The talisman I bestowed upon you shall grant you a small share of their grave each fortnight.
