Notes
It spawns every 4 hours starting a few seconds after after Server Open (not to be confused with Server Save) on Halloween (between the Server Saves of October 31 and November 3). When it spawns, the following message is broadcast to all players:
- Oh noes! It's a mutated pumpkin!
Once the Mutated Pumpkin has been slain, a portal east of Darashia opens for 30 minutes (here), where all fighters can skin the corpse for the achievement Mutated Presents, and one of the following:

- 20 Yummy Gummy Worms
- Surprise Bag (Red)
- Surprise Bag (Blue)
- Bar of Chocolate
- Pumpkinhead

The exiting portal will take the player to Darashia Temple. You will be automatically kicked out of the reward room after 5 minutes with the message "You can't bear staying in this room any longer."

Behaviour
Fights in close combat. The Mutated Pumpkin never retreats.
Strategy
Try to trap it since it retargets a lot and it's very fast. Then just attack it until it's dead.
History
The Mutated Pumpkin was introduced during Halloween 2008. The possible rewards for defeating it were Spiderwebs, Pumpkin, Candy Canes, Surprise Bag (Red), Bat Decoration, Bar of Chocolate, Skeleton Decoration, Pumpkinhead or Yummy Gummy Worms.
Since 2009, its body couldn't be moved or walked over as to receive the rewards, one had to use an Obsidian Knife. After using the knife, players would be teleported to Darashia Depot to prevent blocking the rewards for others. Also, Toy Spider and Surprise Bag (Blue) where added to the rewards.
In 2013 its loot was changed to the Cooperative Loot System; every participant since then receives 5 Pumpkins and 10 Yummy Gummy Worms, while the rare items are awarded to players with high participation points among the fighters.
On Halloween 2011, some more changes were made to The Mutated Pumpkin invasion. Only the last twenty players who dealt damage to it were able to receive a reward (this was fixed in 2012). 50 Candies were also added to the list of possible rewards.
