Map problem

I have this map, but when I use it, it doesn't give me any "treasure instructions", is my map or this entry wrong? (Kaito Yamaro 08:34, 20 August 2006 (PDT))

Did you loot it from a Pirate? If this is the case you might own a REAL treasure map! The ones sold on Treasure Island are appearently fake ones, so go there with your REAL map and start digging. (Ron 08:55, 20 August 2006 (PDT))

I kind of have the same problem. When I use the map, it says "You can not use this object", even though it appears as a Treasure Map (and not as a Pirate Treasure Map) in the market. And, for your information, I just found it somewhere lying around. My question: What's wrong? -- Wouterboy 18:09, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

If you indeed have this map, then to "use" it you need to be on Treasure Island. Both of the maps had a very similar description before the market was introduced, they still might have and the market has got it wrong but I don't have either to check. The map with the text: It obviously shows Treasure Island including a big, red cross. shouldn't be this map though. Beejay 19:02, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

I save a lot of rubbish and other items, I have these 3 maps:

Pirate Treasure Map related to a quest, nothing happens when used

You see a pirate treasure map.
It weighs 8.30 oz.
The location on the map is not familiar to you.

Treasure Map, the one you buy from John, gives you instructions to walk only if you have it on your backpack.

You see a treasure map.
It weighs 8.30 oz.
It obviously shows Treasure Island including a big, red cross and detailed instructions.

Treasure Map (Pirate), the one you loot from pirates, nothing happens when used, can be used to access treasure island underground.

You see a treasure map.
It weighs 8.30 oz.
It obviously shows Treasure Island including a big, red cross.

Edit: the one you get from John is not included on market. The other 2 have the same name as when you "look" them --Daniel Letalis 22:36, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the respose guys! Apparently I'm the owner of the map which you can use to dig holes on Treasure Island. Could always come in handy.
