As I have said here: Talk:The New Frontier Quest/Spoiler#Tomes of knowledge, this isn't actually a quest. It is a side quest, rather like getting access to Calassa or Frozen Trench in Explorers Society. This is a better example than the searoutes around yalahar, because you cannot do this side quest until you have finished earlier parts. It comes under the new frontier quest in the quest log this it is easily checkable for anyone who has started this side quest. beejay 01:34, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

No, these should not be merged. It's two completely different series plus it would confuse people if you stuck them both on one article.

Tome chronology[]
Something's really bothering me here.
The "eighth" tome requires you to hand in eight tomes. So its not really the eighth if you need to do eight before it.
