Do you have to do each part the very next day, or can you wait a week? For instance, if you do the Monday part, do you have to do the Tuesday part the next day, or can you wait 8 days?

Though it's impossible to tell, I'd assume they wouldn't make you completely unable to do the quest, however I am pretty sure you need to do it in order, i.e you can't do the first mission and skip the second, and the NPC won't let you do that mission unless it's a certain day. if that makes any sense.
The page needs to be protected..It's being vandalized for their own benefits.

The new version looks a little more accurate, there's no part which benefits the editor, and has transcripts too. I suggest we keep this until we at least have the info. I'll make a minor edit to add warnings/change a few other minor things, though I can't say for sure that this is accurate.

Apparently, it isn't possible to teleport from Darashia to Port Hope with the cheese, but I'm not sure if it has to be added to the page since teleporting is illegal anyway and shouldn't be considered a possibility to do this quest. Nidhoggr 10:38, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I failed this quest...I got a sword that cost 400gp instead of the cheaper one by accident, now Rashid won't respond to me with that sword, nor will Uzgod make me a new one - so if anyone knows how to finish it that'd be nice to add it to this page if this happens, or, just reply here and tell me coz I'm really annoyed :| Also, using someone elses sword that is a good cheap sword doesn't work.
Devil on Refugia
After a few tests it looks like you are able to reset the quest by bringing him a Crimson sword and speaking to Rashid. He will reject the weapon and you will be able to restart the mission in a weeks time. Karr Chaos (talk) 03:44, February 23, 2013 (UTC)

Way from Darashia to Port Hope[]
Are "safe" way doesn´t exist, you may run on a lured Hydra or Carniphilia or even into some elefants.
Two hints first:
- good idea to have a stealth ring ready (if you can´t cast invisibility) - speed is essential, so keep on hasting
The way I would suggest to you:
Go from Darashia southwards over the mountain and then head west. Go south to the last stairway up into the mountains. There should be only low level monsters there. Follow the way until you reach the jungle areas. You may need to go up and down in between.
Now turn on invisibility and run south staying right near the mountain/river. Here you may face a lured hydra. After some time there will be a bridge leading east (lizards). Head into the other direction. You should walk a little south/north of this path to prevent facing the carniphilia.
Soon you reach Port Hope, if you got the map there already it is easy to find. -Sadonic

On the first day of the quest, my text with Rashid is different from the wiki. The wiki has these four lines:
Rashid: First, I'd like to see if you can dig up rare wares. Something like a ... mastermind shield! ...
Rashid: Haha, just kidding, fooled you there, didn't I? Always control your nerves, that's quite important during bargaining. ...
Rashid: Okay, all I want from you is one of these rare deer trophies. I have a customer here in Svargrond who ordered one, so I'd like you to deliver it tome while I'm in Svargrond. ...
Rashid: Everything clear and understood?
I had just one line:
Rashid: Fine. Then get a hold of that deer trophy and bring it to me while I'm inSvargrond. Just ask me about your mission.

Yes you need to do the mission days in the correct order as says in the quest log, otherwise Rashid will tell you to come back another day. beejay 22:53, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
I think Beejay misinterpreted your statement: you can do it across many weeks, but the order must remain intact (think of it: why would CIP make it impossible for people who can't be on the next day?). -- Sixorish 00:34, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

The Hardest Part[]
I disagree that Friday is the hardest part. I mean, it's not necessary to travel through Calassa or Frozen Trench. Also, it's easy to find someone to get the fish for you. I think that the hardest part is Wednesday, because you have to face Earth Elementals and lots of annoying monsters - and if you're lucky, you'll find a Hydra - and that's less optional (less because I think you can ask a friend to pass through Tiquanda and you can just wait for him at Port Hope).

I do not agree with you. If I wanted to solo this quest, not buy anything, get everything myself going to Calassa would be the hardest part. Walking through Tiquanda.. come on, I could do that on lvl 25-30 already. The earth elementals are not there anymore, that was a bit outdated info on the wiki, there is only 1 Hydra which could be lured, avoiding it is not very hard. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 16:18, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
There is a small fish in sunken quarter that only requires you to face some constrictors and one mantassin (I think CIP missed removing it when they removed all the others from sunken quarter). So it's not necessary to go to Calassa. Which makes it a lot easier.
I'm not sure which mission I think is the hardest, but if you're unlucky and meet the hydra I guess the Wednesday mission is the hardest. If not I guess the Saturday mission is the hardest if you want to do it solo and not buy the fish from someone else.

Reseting the mission when you do a mistake:
If you bought a cheap sword: offer it to Rashid and he will restart the mission. Don't have to wait one week as said before.
If you bought a cheap sword and want to keep it: offer a normal Crimson Sword(bought in Edron shops) to Rashid and he will restart the mission. Don't have to wait one week as said before.
fun fact about wednesday mission[]
The quest is very likely coded as a bunch of checkpoints to walk through. I've tested adventurers guild shortcut and temple teleport scroll and he treated the cheese as if it was moved by ship in both cases.
