could paladins use burst arrows, 100% hit twice, then maybe change on last demon?

Burst arrows are weak as it is, and demons are strong to physical. I'd stick with assassin stars Also, Remember to sign your post! Anubisben 04:46, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

assassin stars are physical too anyway? especially on non-pvp worlds though, 2*28=56, and assassin stars have at best 75% chance of hit? 65*0.75=49. how do u sign by the way?

Nowadays, people that play in non-pvp worlds can stay in the same sqm (oftenly called 'stacking'). This can be done in this quest? I mean, 4 knights stacking in the first square and attacking the demons?

No it can't be done, the quest uses the same tiles that are infront of a depot box. beejay 21:13, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

I think Demon Outfits need to be added to the rewards of this quest.

Implemented[]

On the Fire Sword/History page I found this (rather oddly placed) piece of information: "In the christmas update Bright Sword could be looted in the Outlaw quest and Sword of Valor from the Annihiliator quest." The update concerned is the Winter Update of 2003. Does this mean that The Annihilator Quest was implemented during Update 7.2? -- Wouterboy (talk) 00:41, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

I was just wondering when this was implemented too. Edron was created in 6.4 (Nov-2001) with the revised Demons. Isara has claimed to beat the quest first and they were created in Jul-2003 and their outfits are the 7.2 (Dec-2003) - 7.8 outfits. The oldest screenshot i found of an Antica team on the Cobalt tower has the same outfits.
Googling the reward items only the Sword of Valor, Magic Sword, shows up in as early as 2001 but I vaguely remember that in a secret cave in the Thais Troll Cave was quest for a spell scroll and some sword, which was maybe the SoV (not the Magic Longsword?) but both were removed pre-2003? so maybe SoV ended up in Annihilator.
Maybe someone has a dated screenshot from that time before Isara beat it but otherwise i think we can only be sure if someone remembers it from then or if any old fansite forums posts can be resurrected.
I would guess it was implemented in 6.4 with Edron but no one was able to beat it until Isara did in probably 2004. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 22:29, June 14, 2015 (UTC)

According to that Cateroide's article, Annihilator was implemed with the new demons (and "before that, the strongest creatures were dragon lords"). But they might be wrong (and they are). I can try to get this question forwarded to Edron's designer - Knightmare - but can't promise we'll get an official yes or no. It might be easier than getting the client version for Darashia update, though.

I received some info based on memories from an old Cip employee, he said:

  • It was implemented after August 2003;
  • It didn't take too long for the first team to complete it; Therefore,
  • It was presumably implemented with the Christmas Update 2003 (Updates/7.2).

It makes sense, because the quest system was implemented in the same update and I can't see how this quest would work (choosing one out of 4 possible rewards) before the quest system.

Regarding when the quest was completed for the first time, I assume it was sometime before 19/03/2004, during TibiaNews "break", otherwise they would have published a news about it. I'm sure it was before 19/05/2004 because they published a news on that day on players using macro while doing the quest, so it had been done before.

Remove protection[]

Can someone remove the protection to edit the quest? some things are outdated like the use of Ice Rapiers. Or else, con can I become an autoconfirmed user or what does that mean? I confirmed my email account a long time ago. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fei Wong Reed (talkcontribs). Remember to sign your comments!

Weird, you should already be an autoconfirmed user. Can you please contact Fandom about it? Hopefully, they might be able to help you out.

@Hunter of Dragoes, maybe there was a problem while charging the script to edit the page, it warns me with the "only confirmed users may edit" sign, closed it and I was able to write, the previous attempts to edit wouldn't let me write after closing the sign. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fei Wong Reed (talkcontribs). Like I told you, there's nothing we can do about that (afaik).

What did the Fandom support told you when you contacted them? Have they manually set you as an autoconfirmed user? Or have they found and fixed the bug that prevented you to be automatically set as an autoconfirmed user?
