If I'm right, there's a sign in the cave with Skeletons (In Bozo's grave, Premium area) that says: "Maze of Fury"

Hehe, not sure if you knew it:

Bozo tells funny jokes about many creatures and has interesting comments about his Thaian friends. Though his job is the royal jester, when asked, he stops midsentence to claim he is the tax-collecter and asks if you want to pay your taxes.

On Rookgaard you can find the grave of Bozo Jester and escape artist. His grave can be opened and leads to a cave with skeletons, and a sign Maze of Fury near a collapsed tunnel. Bozo is a clear allusion to Bozo the Clown, usually shortened to "Bozo" in real life. It can be related to rookgard since there is a grave in premium zone that says "You see a sign. You read: Bozo Jester and escape artist"

If the sword is actually obtainable, you will receive it from a NPC. There is no area in Rookgaard that has any chests or other hidden quest areas.

I gave up on this sword a long time ago, after exploring EVERYTHING in Rookgaard and interrogating EVERY NPC. I even tried some Mainland NPCs, with no luck either.

Speaking technically, unless you have a copy of the map you would not be able to tell *what* is around there, and if you did get a copy that one time when (from what I have read) CIP was hacked, it may have been implemented since, there's no way of knowing and with CIPs recent update, demon legs are now obtainable (though I understand that they were known as obtainable at one point, unlike the sword).
Something else, the portal in the minotaur mage's room is said to take you to Mintwallin, true? I believe the old life fluid seller (Hyancith or somethin') says something about "black magic" coming from the dungeons, the mage could have altered the portals destination "by black magic", of course means you would require a key to get in there, which could be for all we know an extremely low drop from a minotaur, found in a barrel or given by an NPC. There is no way of knowing what CIP have done without getting access to their game data (or them revealing it, but they usually shrug it off "there will always be secrets in tibia which have not been discovered by players.." or similar). The only one thing I am suspicious of is the graves found at the skeletons (and no, I thought of this some time before the fake video was hosted) -- Sixorish 08:26, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

lol... well im sure that even if you to TPed to the island somehow it wouldnt NOT help get the sword. (look at the pic... its surrounded by stones that you prolly cant step on) so the solution must lay in where the sword goes when it isn't on the island. although rook doesn't really seem like the sort of place cip would bother hiding something (specially seeing as they have limited the top balance and get players off rook) magician jimson 04:48, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

I've got the impossibility of getting the sword confirmed by several different people who managed to get over a copy of the map and scripts during the last successful hack attempt. All of them confirm that there is no way in hell to get that sword, heck I even managed to get over a copy myself after a while that showed several interesting (unknown) quests in main, but nothing with the SoF.

I've spent a lot of time researching this(Around six years, took me well over two years just to find the disappearance trick), and there's just no way to get it. It's there to keep you busy, nothing more, nothing less. Eclo 03:58, 18 December 2008 (UTC) Eclo

It might be impossible but your sources are not legit, having that here will only encourage people to attempt hacking them, and CIP would not accept something like that on a supported (or promoted) fansite.
Also, on top of this; the hack was a long time ago if I'm not mistaking, they have changed Rookgaard a lot since then, and they have probably made it possible to get. -- Sixorish 04:09, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Probably?[]

Right, like how they "probably" would make the golden mace available. =)

Anyway, at first I thought the map was just a lame copy made for lousy OTs, but it was appearantly legit enough to show the actual sword disappearance trick, and at the time I was the only one aware of its existence. I'd say they're pretty legit. I don't encourage hacking but it's all we know at the moment, and I'm well aware that they can change the way the quest works, although I can't see why.

Whichever way, "it will be deleted, or teleported/recreated elsewhere" is highly ambiguous wording that has no place on this site, even you could agree with that. I've reworded it a bit now, hopefully that will keep you happy.

Shadow'talker

"Only the humble one may touch the Sword Of Fury."

It is obvious that there is no way to attain the sword of fury in rookgaard, the saying above confirms it, whoever wishes that sword will stop being humble because that sword is seen as a very important item in rookgaard, nothing that a true humble person would want to wield, also, players who stay in rook instead of leaving on to main are very far from being humble, because rookstayers wish to conquer the island, to be strong and to slay anything in the island, which is not humble, therefore, Cip only did that to "entertain" rookgaardians.

Since the sword actually is a spike sword, and there's a spike sword quest in main... This has probably no connection to eachother and its unrelated but... (spike sword quest/spoiler): Note: You will likely hear the roar of three Dragons. These dragons are caged at the far north end of the room. It is unknown how or why they are there, perhaps this is another adventure to be found? Yeh... uhm.. nvm //User:Coohie

Colte's alleged spike sword on rook[]

If you look at the picture he posted along with his bragging you'd see that the pixels around the spike sword looks different from the pixels around the other equipment. This indicates that it could be a faked picture. Also the text is in third person but the user who posted it was Colte. Why would he write about himself in third person and brag about an item that he won't spoil how to get?
And how is this interesting for the article: "He also had a well known character in Antica called Mulf, that is now deleted."
Even if it would be true that he has a spike sword on rook (which I doubt), nobody is interested in his old deleted characters.
I'd say, have him show it to one of the admins here on wiki in safe trade and if it's true that he has it, then leave the info. If he's not willing to show it, then remove the info.

I also think that dice is not looted in rook, the only person who says to have one does not want to show to me.<bt>--Kwigon the sharpshooter 21:26, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

His latest edits like this one have made me lose trust in him. If anyone has an Antican character on rook please ask him to show it as proof. Until then i personally would not allow it to be posted. Vandalism will also not be tolerated regardless if he is telling the truth or not. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 03:22, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

"nobody is interested in his old deleted characters." you clearly dont know who mulf is, if he really was mulf it would be interesting but i highly doubt it. besides how many people over the years claimed they had spike sword and i didnt saw one of them willing to trade it or give hints where they got it, so its all bullshit to me foggy 09:53, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism?[]

The last edit changed the name of Eclo on Rook to Vanessa of Furora, in relation to the first person to make public the sword dissapearing trick. Is this some form of vandalism? Who did it first?

Also, the sword still exists but the screenshots in the article depict an ancient version of the client, with old outfits and sprites. Shouldn't we take new ones of the island?
