I have a few comments to this article. Firstly, playerd do not spawn, they login. I'm not sure what author ment, but spawning is reappearing item/monster after some time (after taking/killing it). Also, notice that when monster is respawning, there is no teleport animation under it unlike when player login or raid monsters appear.
Secondly, about the sentence that demons respawn if u're in the room - read this: Talk:Demon. I think the reason was that demon respawned out of a screen (2 sq out of screen is enough). This happened to me many times, that when i was walking throught spawn, suddenly monster came from side where i have been 3 seconds ago (backspawn).

I'm sorry, as far as I know spawning refers to players logging in too, as the term refers when something appears on the game, not just creatures or items. And about the Demons part, I didn't write it, if you check the history, I'm not sure if it's true, but I left it there. Post your comments ^^
Edit: maybe only in Tibia players don't "spawn", but the term seems to be ambiguous when it comes to Tibia.

Well yes, in my opinion term spawn means "appearing for the first time" and respawn is reappearing then. However I've never heard anyone saying "wait, I will respawn in 5 min, I have do pick up the phone". So player can respawn in temple after death, but logging into game is called just login. Tell me how do you see it, maybe i'm wrong.
@Demons, I haven't stated that you wrote it, I'm just pointing that the whole topic about demons spawning in room with players is either a big misunderstanding or a fake.
Also it would be good to mention that some items are spawning once a day after serversave, while others after each floor reset, which take place in different moments in different places, but generally every couple hours.
