What if, in the charts for objects/food/equipment, we also add, next to the creatures that drop them, the NPCs we can buy them from? I can easily do that using the NPC already existing pages... Everyone disagrees with that? I think it would be very useful... --Daphoenyx 08:22, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

I editted out the tabs for the quest spoilers, since it shows up in the table of contents. I doubt that's the intention. Feel free to correct me on that one. ^.-

In my opinion TibiWiki should be the ultimate guide for everything tibia including quest spoiling. Althought there should be a warning to the readers.

--Shadow Dragon 16:50, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

Does the TibiaWiki really support quest spoiling? I can agree on naming what kind of quests there are and perhaps how to start them, but now exactly how to complete them. :/

What do everyone else think?

--Alreth 14:28, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

As far as i know Sunrise reached lvl 100 on RoOkgaard. He didn't got a Spikesowrd. Can we say that this rumour is false too?

--mvxa 01:18, 16 Sep 2006 (GMT+1)

Write something about rookstayers, that 3 person has 100 + lvl. btw, noone has brass armor -.-

Is there any other way for players in Rookgaard to morph into other creatures other than during halloween when the The Halloween Hare around? This video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-rOY4OZfmw) for example shows 4 rook stayers in Vampire shape that doesn't seem to have been a doing of "the hare", i also saw a player in the shape of a ghost about 2 months after halloween(30th of september), I've also seen an old picture of a player in rookgaard in the shape of a beholder, not sure wether that was a fake or not though, i'll try to locate it and link to it here.

Could some one change the items list, for example a list for items that you can get now (party cake is missin and maybe other items too), another list for items that you used to get in rook and now you can't get them anymore (life fluids antidote rune, poison dagger), and a list for items that are rare to get in rook like (vials, poison field rune, spike sword, brass armor, knife, magic light wand, etc)

Clean up

I've begun cleaning this page up, to start, I removed the "Guide to level 8", as I don't think it's appropriate for the wiki, the list of creatures are already there, nobody needs a complete guide to level 8. Other than that, a few minor adjustments have taken place, I will see if I have time to throw up a template to make the "Shop Prices" and "Other items that can be found in Rookgaard" neater and the sources less annoying to edit. -- Sixorish 06:48, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Excess transcluding is an issue. I guess. I'll see if I can work out wikitables to make the rest a little easier to bear... -- Sixorish 08:33, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Poison Dagger

I actually did an investigation into this. The fact is, not one single person can prove that it was ever obtainable or lootable from a Minotaur in Rookgaard. I have asked my friends and pretty much every old Rookstayer in servers such as Antica.

During my investigation I asked players such as Master Slayer, Sunrise, Qwerty. They asked people on my behalf, and I asked many other Rookstayers. No one has ever seen one, looted one or knows anyone else who has looted one.

If there is one on Rookgaard, it was not looted from a Minotaur, the only way it got there was by the "Rooking Bug" in which many items were taken into Rookgaard and are still there today, including Scimitars and Warhammers ect...

clean up

This article is very messy, I'm going to make some changes soon. I think it should focus more on places and activites, it shouldn't be just a list of items you can find there. I'm definitely going to extend it and add some nice screenshots. :)

Mysterious Librarian 16:30, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Good idea, linking to the main article of the list (with {{main}} for example) would be an improvement. The transclusion limit on this article is probably one of the closest to reaching the set limit anyway (it originally was above it, but the new parser increased it/decreased workload). -- Sixorish 18:00, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

I started the cleanup, I have deleted that table with Rookgaard items but please don't panic, I'm going to add a table with Rookgaard rares and generally extend the article

Usage of File

This file might be useful on this article in some way? Bigfish ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 12:14, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Rockstar

There is a piano in the tutorial area, so you should be able to get the achievement, before moving on to the main rookgaard area. I will not change the edit as I have not verified it myself. If someone has time to check that would be nice. Might do it myself if I have time. Sorceror King 00:16, January 9, 2011 (UTC)

Santiago's Piano. It's a different object, so it might not work the same. -- Sixorish 00:49, January 9, 2011 (UTC)

Unknown Area

During the Tutorial where you go down a hole and obtain a rope from a chest, there appears a small part of another cave, which cannot be entered through Rookgaard:

http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/8881/unknwonarea.png

You have to be standing at the very bottom of the cave to have that part appear on the minimap. There is no other hole that can be opened with a shovel on the Tutorial Island that could lead to that area and i haven't yet tried to open a hole by using a pick on the ground above that area. (You can throw a pick over from Rookgaard to the Tutorial Island*)

I have completed my Rookgaard minimap to 100% by walking around everywhere and on all edges of the island and the caves, yet this is the only area which i couldn't enter and the only area that which made me wonder on if there is another new quest or something like that added to Rookgaard.

Maybe this is an area which can only be entered through the mainland though, yet if you scroll down on the mapper:

There only appears a small island with a ship and going down some levels doesn't let any other cave or tunnel way appear which could lead to that area. I was wondering if other Rookstayers could help me to figure out what that place is all about.

  • Throwing Items to the Tutorial Island:

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/394/traininggroundsitems.png

Items can only be obtained on the right side of the Tutorial Island. To use them on the left side you will have to create another character and throw them over again, since any player will be prohibited to walk back over the mountain once they have passed it.

Currently I'm still trying to find out, if i can discover any new areas with the help of a pick, shovel and perhaps the machete.

Problem with Achievements Table

There was a problem with the table (Deform), i fixed it here, and its template.

Garethderioth 18:03, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

"Natural Born Cowboy".

Can someone add this achievement for Rookgaard

I have no idea why this edit moved the achievements table to a section below. I thought it was some positioning CSS, but couldn't find it.. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 11:38, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

It needs a </table> See here: Template:Infobox NPC/List/Header and Template:Infobox NPC/List for an example of where it sits. I've added a table end in for now, you'll have to tydy up the templates as what I've done is only a temporary fix. Good effort though, keep it up!
Craggles ಠ_ಠ TalkContribs 23:08, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! Didn't think about that. Only disadvantage of having a new table for every row: you can't sort the whole thing. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 14:43, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

Two ways of fixing that. Either {{Infobox Achievement/List/Header| {{:A}}{{:B}}{{:C}} }} . So you input the table rows into the template which would have a start and stop table . Or you put an end cap template on {{Infobox Achievement/List/Header}} {{:A}}{{:B}}{{:C}} {{Infobox Achievement/List/Footer}} for maintenance purposes the first is easier.

poison dagger

Uchazu (talk) 00:58, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

there's a youtube video named

"Poison Dagger And Brass Armor On Rookgard! No Fake!"

Dran Dred has the poison dagger and brass armor,....he says he got it from minos.

I also saw him hitting minos and they got poisoned and he wasn't using arrows.

cure poison rune weight

Can someone who knows how add the weight, I couldn't work out how

You see a cure poison rune ("adana pox"). It can only be used by players with level 15 or higher. It weighs 2.10 oz.

Fighter Mick (talk) 05:08, March 14, 2014 (UTC)

Done, it was using the spell instead of the item. Historically runes were combined with the spell to create them. I just changed Cure Poison Rune to Cure Poison Rune (Item) on Rookgaard Items. -- Sixorish (talk) 05:20, March 14, 2014 (UTC)

So, now that Dawnpoint was introduced...

What's Rookgaard's purpose and how do you access it? The article doesn't bother explaining. Reddez (talk) 10:07, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

From the page: "Keep in mind that this isle is still accessible though, namely via Dawnport. Just say Rookgaard to Inigo, and you should be on your way here." -- Wouterboy (talk) 11:47, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

access still possible: To recreate: Create new character (I used the skip the tutorial option) Immediately see Inigo and say:

22:49 Inigo: You came through the portal! Though it must be different from where you came from, I'm sure you can help us. But first, I can help YOU. 22:49 Rookslayer Sasuke [2]: rookgaard 22:49 Inigo: Hmmm. Long time I visited that isle. Not very exciting place. Why do you ask? Do you wish to go there? 22:49 Rookslayer Sasuke [2]: yes 22:49 Inigo: Careful, careful, it's a one-way ticket only! You can never come back here if you leave now, and you will lose all your Dawnport equipment and products! ... 22:49 Inigo: Are you SURE you want to LEAVE Dawnport for ROOKGAARD? 22:49 Rookslayer Sasuke [2]: SURE 22:49 Inigo: Then so be it. I'm sorry to see you go, but if this is what you want, step this way... right. Now, cover your eyes... GO!

That info is already available on the article: Players can and may choose to to play Rookgaard as long as the account has at least one character on the Mainland, by talking to Inigo on Dawnport and asking to be sent to Rookgaard.
