I'm not sure if Prismatic Shield is better than Ornate Shield because mostly high levels knights, when hunting, are surrounded by 6~8 monsters that break the blocker's shield. So, what's better 1% physical vs 1 def? I guess 1 % is better. (But I'm not totally sure). Anduriun (talk) 06:25, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
I don't know exact formulas for shielding/defense but I believe the 1% from ornate shield will be better for high level knights. That is especially true if most of the time the knight will be using utito tempo, which makes them defenseless. -- Sixorish (talk) 07:09, August 31, 2012 (UTC)

Using Only Prismatic Shield:
Full attack : 10:59 Galak'Warrior loses 192 hitpoints.
Balanced : 10:59 Galak'Warrior loses 192 hitpoints.
Full Defense : 10:59 Galak'Warrior loses 192 hitpoints.
Using Full Equips (Prismatic Helmet, Royal Draken Mail, Ornate Legs, boots of haste, Platinum Amulet, Shiny Blade) with ornate shield:
10:59 Galak'Warrior loses 141 hitpoints.
11:00 Galak'Warrior loses 131 hitpoints.
11:00 Galak'Warrior loses 142 hitpoints.
Average: 138
With Prismatic Shield:
11:00 Galak'Warrior loses 141 hitpoints.
11:00 Galak'Warrior loses 143 hitpoints.
11:00 Galak'Warrior loses 134 hitpoints.
