Count Down[]
Hey guys, what this page fails to mention is how "hunting" time is determined. I tested this using damage reduction and it seems to count using the following criteria:
- user gains experience (i.e. Stamina's check), OR
- user takes damage
Other things I tested:
- If the user is attacked but takes no damage, the timer does not count down. [My example: I was being attacked by 8 bats, with enough armor to eliminate any damage taken]
- If the user damages a monster, the timer does not count down. [My example: I used GFB on a Modified Gnarlhound].
I'm guessing that all bonuses have their own criteria, but I haven't had the opportunity to test the other three. -- Sixorish (talk) 09:07, December 11, 2016 (UTC)
That is interesting and probably relevant to add to the article. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 11:59, December 11, 2016 (UTC)
For experience increase and loot increase:
- user gains experience (i.e. Stamina's check).
I tested:
- being hit without taking damage - no effect;
- being hit and taking damage - no effect;
- damaging but not killing - no effect;
- killing monsters giving no experience (Slime summons) - no effect;
- killing monsters that give experience but have no corpse (Slime) - both timers affected

Creature Selection[]
From the page:
- "These 9 creatures are randomly selected from a large pool of creatures, but there will always be some low-level creatures, some mid-level creatures and some high-level creatures."
Questions:
- Is this stated officially?
- How is it determined? Are there three creatures from each tier, or do they just ensure there's at least one from each tier?
- How do we define "low-level creature", "mid-level creature" and "high-level creature"?

This has been officially stated, with no further explanation how it works exactly. I assume they have three groups of creatures and randomly select three out of them. A full list of creatures or group distribution is not available. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 11:59, December 11, 2016 (UTC)
Does anyone know if similar creatures are affected by prey? For example, if you have necromancers, does it affect necropharus? If you have frazzlemaws/silencers, does it affect weakened/enfeebled?

Only the creature displayed in the prey window is affected.
