Hello all,

As mentioned here, nightmares kill eachother with their poison balls. However, it also says that they are posion immune (the small sign). What is true? Delatus

It seems that they are not immune to poison, since somebody deleted the lil' sign.

As is pointed out here Talk:Dogs, I don't think nightmares are a variety of dogs. The Fantasy RPG tradition is that they are demonic horses.

It was my dear friend Rune Fighter who made that page, and what I remember he really thought it was a dog.

You'd have to excuse me , the library wasn't updated back then .. and they hardly look like horses do they?

Rune Fighter

They would be weird looking horses.

Bombur Thumper 10:28, 30 May 2007 (PDT)

The wikipedia says that nightmare are demon-horses.. and the tibia.com says that when the nightmare travels to th real world he get deformations.... In "real" nightmares are demon horses. And in Tibia it is a strange horse, So nightmares are horses!!

A horse is a horse

Of course, of course

They drop strong health potions or was the editor confused with 'shaken' Concentrated Demonic Blood?
Sixorish My contributions Talk page 20:50, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

They drop strong health potions, killed 15 nightmares and looted 7 of them, never looted those bottles that you can shake =P am new on hunting this monster.
 Kwigon the sharpshooter   Talk   -January-07-2008.

Em, Im hunting them for all week and they didnt drop any 1 strong health potion, only concentrated demonic blood, please confirm it someone else.

Crystalix

I never looted one either. I guess that:
1. somebody saw the blood and ignored it because he thought it was a strong health potion
2. the demonic blood was shaken and created a strong health potion.
Art Featherpitch 03:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm changing it back until more people can confirm, I also updated the pic of demonic blood, given the rareness he said (7 out of 15 nightmares) it sounds a lot like demonic blood, and definitely not strong potions.
Sixorish My contributions Talk page 06:09, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
nvm, I didn't realize it was protected..lol

Did they change the demonic blood (small vial) to a biger size? (big vial). Maybe now the demonic blood looks like a strong health potion, sorry if I made that mistake. (they used to look like small life fluid).
 Kwigon the sharpshooter   Talk   -January-15-2008.

They changed the sprite to a Strong Health Potion lookalike, when shaken it turns into a strong health/mana potion
Sixorish My contributions Talk page 08:35, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Again sorry for my mistake. But can some one to add 0-2 ham and 0-4 meats to the loot, and that nightmares runs at 400hp.
 Kwigon the sharpshooter   Talk   -January-15-2008.

It's protected because it's currently the featured creature (and is linked to from main page...or that's why i think), will have to wait until the week changes.

Added the dreaded cleaver to the loot list.. I'm not sure why it wasn't there already. Ancient shields and knights legs have become quite rare.. ancient shields to the point where they come less often than boots of haste. I haven't ever seen power bolts as loot, so maybe those should be removed. Polusalo 00:21, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Loot

I've never heard of someone getting a dreaded cleaver from one, only destroyers.

I know also for a fact that they drop power bolts because I've looted them. They drop between 5 and 7 quite often for me.

Fire Assassin 00:36, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

I have hunted Nightmares with my friend soon half years and looted many BOHs, voodoo skulls and others but NEVER Dreaded cleaver from Nightmare. And i haven't ever heard that somebody has looted dreaded cleaver from Nightmare. I'm 100% sure that Nightmare doesn't drop it.

-Joker Lich

Well, I've killed about 2 mill exp worth of Formorgar Mines monsters.. I'm pretty sure I looted the cleaver from a nightmare, though I might be confused. I have nothing but a screenshot of my total loot from that hunt so I can't really check even if I wanted. I'll talk to some of the big time nightmare hunters on my server to verify. As for the power bolts.. I don't pay attention much to mediocre loot so xD. I know that the ancient shields are something like.. almost as rare as boh by now, and k legs are quite close. Polusalo 03:07, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd guess you most likely got the cleaver from a destroyer. Seems much more likely.

Special:ProblemReports/7813 on Strong Mana Potion

About Poison Ball dmg

I was in Formorgar on my Druid char together with some strong knights, and back then my druid had 425 hp. At one moment my mana shield wore off and I was hit by a poisonball from a nightmare and I was down to 25hp in one hit (I wasnt hit by anything else and my hp were full because I used manashield all the time). So I suppose their poison ball can do up to 400hp dmg in one go, not just 350...

Barathorn 19:26, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

If you didn't use any armor increasing earth damage dealt to you it's very likely you're right and thus should change that. /Dottie 20:04, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

You suppose???? Cant you read the actual damage in your defaul window? Dont change the damages unless you are pretty shure.

HP/EXP

Hail all,

I was looking the last changes and I saw this amazing number:

27000 hit points 21500 Experience points per kill

Is this right? I realy want know what is going on. The same happend with some other strong monsters. Thanks, and if I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

A little advice in yalahar cemetery quarter

I added a little advice concerning the spawn in Yalahar. I died a few minutes ago with my main (RP Level 91 [was 92]) and I want to share my advice not only to mid-high leveled paladins, but with everyone, including mages and knights :) May Cin 00:42, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Am lv 132 RP and I don't block more than 1 nightmare or Zion for obvious reasons, they can kill you. I think people can figure out how many they can take by reading the max damages and knowing how much they can heal per turn.
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 07:04, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Physical Weakness

I've hunted these with assa stars enough to make high hits (best without sharpshooter is now 526). Well I made several 500+ on them but the damage calculator (here on wiki) says that I can max hit 492. Something is obviously wrong... //User:Coohie

According to the formula you can find here on wiki your max hit with assassin star would be 557. I took your level and distance skill from your user page to do the calculation. So I'm guessing they haven't updated the distance formula for the calculator.

Yes of course. That's why I mentioned I got the info from his user page. However, my point was that the calculator here on wiki is not updated with the new distance formula that's on the formula page.
