where does the sprite (and the whole page) comes from??

nevermind, just checked tibia.com :P Camioneto 01:01, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Probably Medusa Shield and Stone Skin Amulet will be implanted as Medusa's Drop. I added but you can remove it if you think it's unecessary.

Creature class?

So, is this a human, a demon, a reptile or (for some reason) an undead creature?
Art Featherpitch 07:25, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Humans is definitely more fitting, but there are no subclasses where it would fit. Well, we don't know much about the update, they may very well be considered a sorcerer with their ability to turn people into stone (if they're going by Greek mythology). Reptiles could also fit, but I think the snakes were a form of punishment, and not a trait of the Medusa. -- Sixorish 11:29, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

I think human, like a Witch. Those snakes are not coming out of her body, otherwise she would be half reptile. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 12:14, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Medusa was a Witch who could transform you into a statue if you look directly in her eyes. Probably it makes you paralyzed and transforms you into a new sprite, nothing confirmed. I'll keep watching this page.

Manjyome Black - March 4th, 2009; 21:08 GMT-3

Medusa was a chthonic creautre. In that respect, it's best fitting as an earth elemental (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chthonic ). Still, that doesn't matter, since in the end, what counts is the Tibian version. We'll have to wait until she shows up on the bestiary. Vhazhiphor 23:18, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Maybe she could turn you into a stone golem or maybe a new sprite will be added like a Human Statue. She is a Human and a Sorcerer because she is LIKE a Witch.

like this sprite maybe? -> Creaturenew1
--Elgarel Kator 18:57, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

the damage medusa receives from fire and energy is the same as serpent spawn, page is locked so I leave this note so anyone with permission can add it. --Daniel Letalis 02:15, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Also the Medusa now has 4500hp, according to the library. beejay 02:20, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Let us edit the page also! Medusas are dropping Knight Armor as semi-rare, Warrior Helmet as semi-rare, Terra Mantle as rare and Terra legs as rare also.

Medusa is on the main page, that is why you cannot edit this page right now. beejay 04:08, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Ow, I'm sorry, didn't realize it would get protected + a lot of people want to edit it, obviously. I will include the things you say here, we'll have to improvise a bit on this. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 08:38, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry I think that >150 lvl for mage it is too high specially if you're diagonal, I solo it like 4 times at test sever, as low of level 99 (diagonal of course) with out mana shield, and yesterday also (level 111).What do you think, do we lower down the level?
Juan Ariel 11:17, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

They are strong to ice, not to death. Check and update with tibia.com please

Titan Axe is also a part of their loot. beejay 22:35, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Not to be persistent, but medusae ate not humans. I suggest the class be changed to geoelemental, since (now confirmed by the bestiary) they're corrupted earth spirits. Corrupted or not, they're still spirits, or in any case have become demons, but are not humans. Vhazhiphor 17:35, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

talahu

has any1 seen then in talahu, i searched all holes in that island and didn't find Maguu 11:59, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I beleive they are in quara hell passed a level 80 door, wouldnt that make it Malada instead? beejay 17:59, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Sadly portaltibia's wiki seems to copy tibiawiki and then later translates it, I guess they don't try to find out if it's true or not. :/ beejay 20:08, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

coment about portaltibia

Beejay i think u might be right about they copy some stuff from wiki, but wiki is a enciclopedia, i guess all should be copyed and translated to other languages.

But i got surprised that they don't only copy, in the day of the update the dwarven legs quest was alrady completed there and contains dozens of pictures, maybe someone could copy form there and fullfill the spoil here too?

links is here: http://tibia.portaltibia.com.br/Royal_Rescue_Quest/Spoiler

 Maguu 18:50, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I couldn't translate it anyway but I would rather do the quest myself than copy other's hard work. :p Concerning Medusa I have changed the page a little bit such as; hunting below 150 is possible but not recommended. Can anyone check to see if there is a Medusa spawn under Malada? From what I know its passed a level 80 door somewhere there, but that was test server so perhaps things have changed.

Medusa Behavior

The Medusa is really agressive on female druids. We tested this like 100 times over and over to approve it with different teams.

It seems that Medusa switches on Female druid almost instantly no matter what. Ignoring challenges too making it extremely difficult to block.

We came to conclution after killing very many of them that it is surely part of Medusa programming to attack female druids as top priority.

Because the test result was like 99% solid in every test. I approve this as it's natural behaviour.

So answer: No. I am definitally NOT kidding with this.

I have to disagree with you on that one. Last night I was hunting them with a blocker(male ek) Male ED and me as a male RP. He just retargets VERY often and it doesnt matter if your a female or not, since he retargeted on me to. Sometimes u have to res it like 5x before it stays on the blocker.Hellfire Scatz 12:28, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps it just retargets to the lowest-leveled player? Drekky 12:46, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Complains at forums: "Medusas RETARGETS WAY TO OFTEN", Maybe they retarget to much, not just female druids.
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 14:18, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Pirates retarget to the weakest player around more often than not. It's probably the same for medusae. beejay 15:20, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

We tested the medusa behavior again and we still come forward with the issue that it retargets the most to female druids.

Have you tried with male druids of the same level or of a lower level at the same time? You cant be possitive on their behaviour unless, you have tested this under different circumstances, to atleast know that they are just going for the female druids and not just the only female/druid in the party or the lowest leveled/weakest player of the group. Also, please remember to sign your comments with ~~~~ thank you :) beejay 00:10, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Ye, and have you already tryed it with females of all vocations? Hellfire Scatz 00:51, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Medusa's attacks

It took me sometime to figure it out, but I discovered after watch some movies in slow motion. This monster's melee is kinda weak, the max damage is around 200. Their wave attack is also weaker than serpent spawn's one. Medusa's main threat is the life drain terra strike. No, it doesn't hit 400+, but they shoot it up to 4 times at once, what enables them to make deadly combos. Actually 4 terra strikes is kinda rare; most time they shoot 2 or 3, but it happens. Firstly I thought it was a bug (mainly because their exp points are absolutely lower than what they should give to us), but I started to think a little about it, and realized that terra strikes are supposed to come from medusa's snakes on her head. It makes sense at all, as I also lost like 90 garlic necklace charges to kill a medusa with energy strike.

The part about different snakes on medusa's head doing combos sounds cool to me, maybe you can post a link from a youtube movie and the time you see the combo? ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 15:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

You can see it here: http://uploads.tibiabr.com/?page=download&id=77192. Pay attention to the medusa next to the noxious's portal. You'll see her dealing damage with multiple terra strikes at once. Also, don't get confused with her melee's damage, as the player will not get the "poisoned message". This movie is from tibia.br, a supported fan site by tibia.com. It's definitely not a hacker link, but use www.virustotal.com to scan it, or just don't download the movie. Warlock Mortimer 21:10, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

You made me umpack and old roten pc and install tibia and the tibiacam program on it, just to see you movie and get a screenshoot that proofs yu are wrong.... Here is a brief explanation of the picture: Knight make medusa red and while it run away it shoot a terra strike on the knight make a damage of 161, which combined to the poison damage (of 10) he take at the same time, show in screen a damage of 171. This only proof that your theory that the max damage a medusa make is 150 is WRONG. I am a bit angry with all the time wasted...

--Maguu 23:29, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't know how to open that. I already killed some medusas never saw stuff like that, and monsters don't do that, Not even demon overlords, why a mudusa would be stronger than them?
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 23:30, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

And what can you tell me about those ~110 damages? Sincerely, I doubt you looked the cam file in 0,2x speed, you can easily see the guy taking more than 3 100+ hits, obviously not being a single melee and a strike. And for you Kwigon, you are just trying to find random reasons to undo my edits for a stupid reason. As I said before, I give up trying to help in this while there are so many noobs who pretend to not see things, you guys got the info you deserve (nothing). Warlock Mortimer 00:66, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

nothing against you Warlock mortimer

Warlock noone is saying that medusa only hit 400 damage. I myself put the minimum damage as 21, so of course they can hit 110~.... Kiwigon and me are saying that medusa do not hit 4x150 at the same second to look like it hit was one single 600 damage. The ss i took was just to prove you that Medusas DO hit more than 150 with terra strike. And you had changed Terra Strike to 150 max 2 or 3 times...
I hunt medusas everyday killed over 3k of then, and many times while i block medusas, they shot one single terra strike on my hunt partner, and i have seen this single terra strike hit from 21 to 470. I even managed to take ss of medusa hiting 275. The problem is that they hit 470 only like 1 time each 200 medusas... and is not easy to hunt and take screenshoots...--Maguu 04:53, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Here is another screen where we can see medusa hitting with 5 (yea, 5) terra strikes. If you think it was the other medusa just go and download this movie (and btw, if it was the other, one of them need to shoot 3 and the other 2 to give such a damage from distance). Put the video speed in 0,1x and look in the minute 7:16 exactly and you will see what I'm talking about. Here is the link: http://uploads.tibiabr.com/?page=download&id=77468
