The spell magic shield redirects to the item Magic Shield.

  • Not really. If you look closely, the page is actually the magic shield spell. At first glance it is a little hard to tell since the image is of the Blessed Shield, and all the text says is Magic Shield, but this is in fact the spell page.

Should the spell words (Eg Utevo Lux) redirect to the spell?

Awb ~*~Got any comment? Feel like talking? Come to my talk!~*~ 12:11, 23 February 2006 (CST)

I think that would be a good idea.

Much people know the magic by the spell words more than the name of the magic itself.

Yes, spell words should redirect to the spell page. Most of them do (lower-case spell words, anyway):

Feel free to make another redirect if you come across one that doesn't.

Alright, I'll go over the spells tomorrow

Awb ~*~Got any comment? Feel like talking? Come to my talk!~*~ 12:47, 23 February 2006 (CST)

Keep in mind that the wiki will make the first character of any link capital, so the spell words redirect pages should be first-letter capital, everything else lower case:

[[utevo lux]] will actually link to the page "Utevo lux": utevo lux

Finished. Every spell words will redirect you to the spell

by the looks of it the spells Food and Power Bolt on this list redirect to the items instead of the spell detail. Maybe some more to find...

well, Craggles took care of it and changed the name fields of the spell's templates name field...

Order on the Page

Should we reorder the spells so that the spells on the bottom part of the list requires a higher level? What is the ordering pattern as of now? --Rellik Evol 19:13, 27 May 2007 (PDT)

The current order is by spell names, not completely though since utani hur and utani gran hur are not placed after each other.

They are currently grouped by spell type, and ordered by level required. I think this is the most appropriate order for this page.

You can find smaller, more specific spell lists on the various Vocation pages.

--- There are still old spells (poison storm, UE and envenom) on the page, i can't remove them from the template, maybe someone else can?Delatus 10:44, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Can we make it so instead of attack spells we have each of the elements Spells

quest spells

There is one quest spell which fits to syllabes.
In "his true face" mission in Blood Brothers Quest we have "alori mort" spell.
Can it be added as spell?
Leree 15:36, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

It isn't real spell, just key word when talking to npc.

Change request to add a column of info

It would be helpful if the table had another column in it that indicates which vocation can use the spell (knights, paladins, Druids, sorcerers). This would be a lot like that column "required vocation" on the armor and weapons pages.

All the rune spells are listed here. And they're listed on the Rune Spells' page too.

Shouldn't we take these of here?

Also, why is the Instant Spells' page protected, and the Rune Spells' not?

Campello (talk) 20:12, November 14, 2012 (UTC)

Removed and protected, thanks. -- Sixorish (talk) 20:57, November 14, 2012 (UTC)

The spell Magic Rope is missing from this list. It should be added.

OsoSangre (talk) 22:16, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

It seems your edit purged the cache, it is listed now. -- Sixorish (talk) 04:42, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

Wouldn't it make more sense if all the spells (instant and rune) were listed on the same page (which would be named Spells)? It would get two sub-headings and two different tables, so they're still two separate parts. This way the disambiguation page wouldn't even be needed anymore. -- Wouterboy (talk) 14:55, October 5, 2013 (UTC)

It is possible, but the list would get a lot longer. I'm not sure why the distinction was made in the past, but it is always possible to reconsider old decisions. Do you find it hard to find spells? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 15:23, October 5, 2013 (UTC)

No, that's not it. I'm proposing this because a lot of pages link to the disambiguation page, and I think this is not necessary. So that's why I think merging these two pages would be more practical.
