For the record - I have noticed it using some spell that gives you haste, but I am not sure whether it will stay like that after the update, since one of the gods was apparently expecting it to make you drunk.

My friend has been hunting ice witches for several hours now. I would change crystal swords to (semi-rare) as he has looted 5. I would also change skull staff to (rare) since he has not looted any. My opinion anyway. :P Deadflejm 02:40, 9 July 2007 (PDT)

The caves can be found on the way to the mines, but there's not many ice witches (1 or 2, maybe 3), and there's Crystal Spiders and Ice Golems there aswell.

@ loot

on the test server it was confirmed that this creture dropped crystal mace and boots of haste. but has anyone actualy confirmed thse items since the update, or where these items just on the tutor test server? i think they where =/

Boots of Haste and Crystal Maces are either über rare, or not dropped by Ice Witches.. Me and a friend killed them for together 12 hours without getting any of these items (It's a fast spawn, so that's MANY witches). Together, my friend and I have hunted ice witches for 15+ hours. In total, we've looted 10+ crystal swords, 3 sceptres, and 3+ ear muffs. I have yet to see a skull staff dropped. Has it been confirmed that they actually drop skull staves?

Tonight I hunted the ice witches for about 2 hours.. I looted a crystal spider, a diamond sceptre and that's about it. I would definitely change the crystal sword drop to "semi-rare" as it doesn't seem to be much of an issue to loot those. On the BoH case I would like to see some sort of confirmation because to this point it seems highly unlikely it drops, or at least nobody has been so lucky to loot it. :p -- Maverick the hunter 00:03, 18 July 2007 (PDT)

I've hunted approx. 40 hours at the tower + island, have looted 11 earmuffs and many of their other drops, however I have not even seen a sign of skull staffes/boots of haste. I'm very tempted to finally edit them out till it's confirmed they drop it by a reliable source.

Between myself and my best friend, we've hunted 50+ hours on Ice Witches. No one on Lunara has ever looted BoH or skull staff. Considering they're not particularly uber rare or expensive items, it shouldn't be that hard to loot them. THEREFORE, I'd also like to see some confirmation.

Two people recently added those drops again.. I've been hunting there from level 112 to level 124 - which is a lot of exp and witches - and I still haven't gotten either.
I'm not here to discredit any of the 2 guys but I still don't think it should be listed there as loot unless someone can provide us with a TibiaCam or something alike of that.

I've looted 1 pair of BoH my entire time hunting there. I have also seen a couple other people loot them. On the flip side of the coin, I have yet to loot a skull staff or crystal mace (which is what I have been hunting them for

what does AOE mean? also I was wondering if the 'paralysis' should be turned into 'paralyze missile' -- it looks as if they throw frozen starlight at you causing you to paralyze, and I don't know if theres better wording for it.

But it's not an area effect, the snowball is more like a distance shot with the graphic of a snowball, the only area attack would be the wave I believe, and 'wave' already suggests it's an area attack.

Loot

I hunt really often Ice Witches, but I never looted glacier shoes, although I looted everything else more than one time - sure they drop this item?
Could be something new with the last update, maybe.

They drop glacier shoes. I'm sure.

Since the last update, I have hunted Ice Witches 4 times in the Magician Quarter of Yalahar. And believe, I've gotten 3 pairs of Glacier Shoes! So, I'm sure they drop them.

Ice Witches have given me almost all the things that here in tibiwikia says they drop, the only thing they haven't given to me... that's a glacier kilt... But I think it's now very very very rare, because now it costs 11K. Whatever...

Now Someone must confirm they drop glacier kilts

As you can read... Me and Juan Ariel have huntend many times Ice Witches... They have dropped almost everything tibiwikia says they drop, but glacier kilts. I want to know if someone has gotten one glacier kilt after the update (obviously dropped by an ice witch).

Maybe they dont drop it anymore after the update of it's a very very very very rare item now because of now it costs 11K at Rashid.

Noone from my server have managed to loot glacier kilt from them, and some have hunted for several days... I will delete it from the loot until someone actually loots one.

Problem is if you delete it from the loot people will start selling glacier kilts for 1kk each, i just dont think cip added them as selleable to npc to then remove them and make them unlooteable in the game.

They are still lootable from Grim Reapers so they probably won't be 1M each from players (I know you exaggerated). Still they might be very very rare from ice witches. I've never really hunted them so I don't know.

Any confirmation yet on them dropping either glacier kilts or hailstorm rods? I think witches may have been mistaken with a member of the cult in adding the hailstorm rod. I think it is safe to remove them from the list now. -- Sixorish 00:12, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Waste

Greetings after update guys! after a bunch of dead witches i can confirm they became one of the worst monsters to hunt, i hunted them for quite a while and didn't even got my pots back, their damage was increased in about 400% (they use icicle almost every turn) and 5 witches (pretty common to have 5 on you on yalahar) can give you a free trip to temple, and not happy with that, their loot was reduced in about 75%, stats could be a little offset because scientists gave me a few extra bucks which i tried to deduct from the total loot.
