Minimum level for this?
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 19:29, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Somewhere between 28 and 46. I could NOT start it on a lvl 28 but I COULD start it on a lvl 46. If it's the same as test server the minimum lvl is below 40 too, probably lvl 30 or lvl 35. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 19:34, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

If so am going to do this quest with all my lv 30+ chars
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 19:36, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Wont be easier for some high level, if we put in the requirements the total of all food and items needed, so you can just get all and then go in one time?

Only saw larva´s and nomad´s on the way there. Anyone got an idea for what to use the banana shake?

I think this question will be a NOOB question >.>, but I need to ask it. Well, if you finish the quest, is it possible to re-cook one of the recipes again? or until next august? thanks in advance :)
May Cin 04:28, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

It is possible to re-cook all the recipes 1 time, i did the quest with 3 of my chars, and get it 2 of each recipe. (The lowest char is lvl 36). Sez The Withe 17:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

NPC says you can do each recipe once a year, but you can use as many chars as you want, I done the quest 5 times with 2 RP 1 ED 1 MS 1 EK. Lowest level was a 40, anyone made quest with lv 25?
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 17:27, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Kwigon, you can do 2 times each recipe! Just say the name of each recipe again... Sez The Withe 17:10, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Some level 31 cant start the quest, NPC says hes not experienced enough. And you can get 2 dishes per char??? I try doing the recipe but NPC tells me I already did it once that year.
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 04:00, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I am interested in the following statement in the spoiler...

"-Very important: Each dish can be used every 15 minutes."

What exactly does this mean? Is each food have an infinite amount of uses but you must wait 15 minutes to eat. Or something else?

I think It's more like, you can buy a lot of rotworm stews and use them as potions - Dottie [[User_talk:Dottie|talk]] 18:27, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hmmmm maybe means you can't use a 40 backpacks of rotworm stews to solo orshabaal. You can use one and then wait 15 before eating again? Also do they fill you up like normal food?

how much to bring

Question about this line:

-The first time you finish the quest you get 10 dishes, after that you can do any recipe again for a total of 10 dishes the first time.

After making all the recipes the first time and using all the ingredients, when i make them again do i need all the ingredients? That is to say should i bring double of everything when i go for making everything twice. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 05:12, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

First time you must make dishes in corect order. Second time you can choose dish that you will make. It means you don't have to make all dishes but just few you will use. Of course if you want make all 10 then bring double ingredients.
Tazi 05:44, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

So, checking my knowledge of summons: A summon need to stand within 2 sqm of its maker if possible. And generally things like parcels get moved out of the way if possible, or deleted even? I've seen this happen when I log out near the royal post box in Svargrond.

the reason I mention this, is that in attempting to the do the quest quickly, and using summons, I think I ended up getting a backpack of food items deleted that a friend had placed on the ground for me to pull from.

Is this possible? If so, it might be worth adding to the notes section. Miltonr 09:05, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

They only move parcels boxes, chests, not move bags, or backpacks.
--Kwigon the sharpshooter 12:25, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

I think some of the examples of where to buy certain items should be changed to minimize travel. Such as Blessed Steak, you can keep the thais one (obviously), but the pumpkin and ham ones' can be Venore. So you never have to travel to Darashia. Anyone get what I mean? :D

Got it right, to make things easier for me, i have noobchars in commercial free cities (with that i mean free acc cities where people usually buys/sells stuff) to avoid traveling, using those chars i made a list of what i had to buy from each NPC on each town, hope it somehow helps:

Imalas at carlin: brown breads, rolls, cheese, eggs, cookies, bananas and carrots

Donald Mc Ronald at thais: beetroots, weath for floor (or just harvest outside thais), cucumbers, corncobs and pumpkins

Livielle at venore: lemons, milk (altough you will need some vials to transfer the milk to, i don't get why a bottle doesn't work, it's senseless), mangos, potatoes and a juice squeezer for getting coconut milk if you don't already own one

Rose at venore: the hydra tongues

Rodney also at venore: the plums (all venorean NPCs are on the same building so it's easy to buy most stuff from them)

Jezzara at ankrahmun: jalapeños, bulbs of garlic, onions and tomatoes

Luna at edron: white, brown and red shrooms, star and stone herbs, ferns

I didn't included oranges because the only way to get coconuts is killing sibangs, who also drop oranges quite frequently, however if you buy coconuts from another player you might want to buy oranges from NPCs, also meat and ham are so common that i didn't bother to include (dropped by 50% of creatures in tibia)

Also a "temporary" tag should be added to the quest, to clarify that both the quest and the NPC cannot be found the whole year but only during august, and no, summons do not move/dissapear walkable objects such as bags or bps, they only move items that are not walkable like throughs or that you can't push a player over like parcels, moreover bats and chickens do not move objects, there is posibly a floor reset at the tower

The 15 minutes delay means that you have to wait 15 minutes after eating a dish before eating another one, for example, if i eat jalapeños i must wait at least 15 minutes to be able to eat a rotworm stew, that is exactly to prevent players from just buying a bunch of dishes and using them to hunt

And yes, you can make each dish twice, the first time you must make them in the correct order, but the second one you can just prepare the ones you like, i strongly suggest to skip northern fishburger and banana chocolate shake, as they have near useless or no effect and are the most expensive to prepare dishes, the shake for the chocolate bar which can be worth up to 10k, and the burger for the rare fishes that can be sold for up to 3k per unit during august as they're hard to get and not many people has enough patience to loot from chakoyas after summer update loot reduce Daikataro 23:28, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

New recipes next august

So on it says there will be 4 new recipes:

  • Coconut Shrimp Bake
  • Blackjack
  • Demonic Candy Balls
  • Sweet Mangonaise Elixir

I'm not sure whether to add the stuff already, or wait. There will be probably some changes so maybe better to wait. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 16:58, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

I have to think there will certainly be changes, as some of the suggested items require quests and items the average level ~35-40 will not be able to obtain on his own. I think that adding the items on the summer update page would be fine, but I agree that not adding them here would be the right thing to do. Kharzad Ironfist 23:28, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

I have added the identities of the creators of the winning recipes of the Gourmet Competition (help by CipSoft in May 2010) to the relevant pages. It's nice that people have already added these items to the Hot Cuisine Quest spoiler, but as I had previously predicted, nobody remembers those who created the winning recipes. I think, with one the competition 'prizes' of "infinite fame once the recipes are added to the game" has been announced as a joke by CipSoft, it is only fitting that the winners (of which I am one) are suitably recognised by time immemorial on Tibia Wikia. Xuban 23:25, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

It's ok to have your name here, you can make the links shorter by using {{Character|<name>}}. Don't expect to get famous though ;) ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 05:23, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice Bennie. As Ogrey has said on the matter, "fame is relative". Although it seems strange in the way that CipSoft announced the infinite fame prize and then informed the public that is was only humour and not something they were not intending to honour. I just want the other 3 winners and myself to gain some recognition for our achievements. The best way to do that is on Tibia Wikia, I believe. :) Xuban 07:07, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Demonic Candy Balls from 1 to 5

Hello.. the candy balls stuff mabe should change at the info page....

This morning i made the quest with my 3 chars....

I get the dishes but something extrange happenes.. with the first 2 chars it gave me 1 demonic candy ball but with the 3rd one gave me 5 in a row.

Maybe it is something like random From 1 to 5 but from 2-5 is very rare.

Note: .....Maybe this has nothing to do and you will say that i am a kind of fool.. but i will tell you cuz this was the only diference between the first 2 and the 3rd one at the preparation time... by error i put the Rotworm strew inside of the ded bath and when i prepared the dish i lost it.

Greatings!!!--Zhujin 14:18, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Actually it's 1, 5 or 15. And yeah, they are given randomly. Momo! 10:45, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

Are you sure? There's Customer Support working on the matter and neither them or Mirade has made any comments to say that the number is fine. Which would have been one of the first things Mirade would have done, if there was nothing wrong. Just seem's a bit strange..

Concerning the candy balls

Different problems occurred with them. The inconsistency with the amount and furthermore some irregularities within the side effects which you get by using them. Both issues are under investigation and will hopefully be fixed till Tuesday 24th. Beejay 12:45, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

O, great then, hoping to see it being either 5 or 15 'coz getting 1 really dulls your day :< Momo! 09:33, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Candy Balls

Some customer suport should make it clearer. Some times it gaves you only 1 Some times gaves you more than 1, 5 in my case But today i made the quest and in the end he didn't take my ingredients, i made the full list exept this one he said soemthing like i am bored of this dish.. but did not take my ingredients i went again and again and every time i say Demonic Candy Ball he stays without saying nothing.....

What could it be.. could it be a BUG? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zhujin (talkcontribs). Remember to sign your comments!

The CM Ogrey has said today (17th) in the discussion thread, that there will be a patch the beginning of next week to fix the problems with the amount of Demonic Candy Balls given. Whether this also includes the strange issue you have described here, I don't know. If it does not fix that problem then I would suggest you email CipSoft or make a reply in the news ticker thread. The NPC should only say that when you have made the dish for the quest and also made the dish once for yourself. That's two dishes total. Beejay 01:00, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

Zhujin, you can make every dish the first time when Jean Pierre teaches it, and besides the first time once every year. So this year you could only make any of the five new dishes twice. If you made the original dishes last year, then you can only make them again this year one time.
If you could only made the candy balls once then there is a problem, but no more than two times the first year, and once every year after that. I explain this because i am not certain if you knew this, if you knew then it is my misunderstanding. --DM ><((°> Contribs <°))>< talk to me 02:38, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

Pot of Blackjack doubt

Well, I have a doubt, an urgent doubt concerning this item. The item can refill your hitpoints 4 times (as the page info says), but, the item-use delay applies to this as well? I mean, do you have to wait 15mins before using the pot of blackjack again? Thanks in advance May Cin 21:01, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

It's confusing to me how to get acheivement, as I understand i have to make al dishes and then do the last 4 twice, i did and nothing happened, maybe i need to do all again? cuz it's annoying getting items :S —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Houd pete (talkcontribs). See Culinary Master on the Achievements page on how to get this achievement. Beejay 13:21, August 17, 2011 (UTC)

I just cooked all 14 dishes for the first time ever and didn't get any achievement. So, just to be sure, do I need to cook all dishes again or just the last four to finally get the achievement? -- Wouterboy (talk) 07:08, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

It's all of them again, see Culinary Master. Since there were quest flags for the first 10 (to stop players from continously making the same foods), it was only required to create the last 4 again for those which had already done the quest. Beejay (talk) 07:37, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Ow, that's going to be expensive. Anyway, thanks for the quick response! -- Wouterboy (talk) 08:00, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Using the dishes

On the page it says that each dish can only be used once every 15 minutes. Does this mean one can only use, for example, one Rotworm Stew in 15 minutes or does it mean one can only use one dish overall in the same 15 minutes (so when you've just used one Rotworm Stew you can't use a Veggie Casserole right after)? -- Wouterboy (talk) 12:27, August 30, 2012 (UTC)

To answer my own question: no, it doesn't mean that. I tried to use Roasted Dragon Wings right after I ate some Veggie Casserole, but some message showed up saying something like 'for now you're full from this Djinn's food' (which will probably show up every time you try it for as long as the effect of the Veggie Casserole lasts) . -- Wouterboy (talk) 14:01, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
