Myth or Not?
Does this hat truly boosts magical attacks??? Can someone run tests on it? This would affect the calculator if not a myth :) (and the market)
I feel this is just like the rumor that usually gets attached to the Blue Robe, and as such is false. - Lynx
I'd hope it is a rumor, in any case, I'll be running myself tests too, if I get to any conclusion, I'll post it here.
Here's some results: With Hat of the Mad (10 tries, lv 44, ml 55) exori vis reported a difference in the average damages of 5 more points than without it. With Hat of the Mad (10 tries, lv 47, ml 50) exori vis also reported an avg dmg of 5 more points that without it.
Later... With Hat of the Mad (20 tries, lv 44, ml 55) exori vis reported a difference of just decimals points.
I'll do even more tests on this since with 10 or 20 tries one can't get a good average. If I used exori vis in a battle about 20 times, I might not strike my highest hit with exori vis, so at least, one has to test this about 50 to 100 times.
This hats wieght to armor ratio is too low total armor to be worth wearing for mages even when you include wieght. Ive played tibia a very very long time, and have never heard of mages using this hat. They generally go for crown helm. --Rathgard 20:02, 14 September 2007 (PDT)
