I'd willing help with that - but would it be like a huge screenshot or would it be cropped into the creature and their attack; or cropped even more to jsut the attack?

Attacks names

Today I understanded that there is diffrence between energy wave, fire wave (human) spell and fire wave (dragon attack). My proposal is to name them: Great Fire Wave (for dragon or Hydra attack) Energy Wave (for human attack) Small Fire Wave (for human attack and small waves like Wyverns ones). But I probably missed something so I ask for Your comments. We would also need to show examples of size somewhere and wrote something in Fire Wave human spell about it's size and it's name. I'm waiting for You fast answers (new monsters are discovered and ther attacks will be named wrongly). --

That sounds very reasonable to me. I think that would be a valuable change. I also agree with Edwin de waterman and Craggles (above), and think that screenshots would be a good way to show the size of these attacks. Screenshots should be large enough to clearly see the creature and the entire attacked area.

About the image, we could add like a thumbnail.
About what Chaousu said about the names, I think we should leave Fire Wave(human spell) with that name, and just make Dragon's fire wave be called "Great Fire Wave".

PS: Someone should add the Quara Hydromancers spells. I would do it but I'm not premmy and I don't know anything about Quaras.

I began to start playing again afer long break and i see big mess in spell names. Lets leave types of waves etc now (i will think about it) and check poison atacks. How to mark melee attack as poisonous? how to write starting damage of poison? (each monster have different description: starts at, starts from, etc.). My english isn't best but i can fix all pages when You will decide how to write it. Also, do every poison wave makes someone poisoned? --

well, i'd like to add that chakoya wincallers have some sort of ice wave (similar to the fire wave but with ice) and its not physical damage, i will explain.

i was at chakoyas and went down and in the hole next to me (where i couldn't be reached) there were a chakoya windcaller, a winter wolf and a chakoya tribewarden, so the windcaller spams his wave and kills the wolf (and got 20 experience, lol) but the wave also hit the tribewarden and did no effect on it. i think this should be revised or something. bowogon 17:08, 15 August 2007 (PDT)

I made two animations of blood beam and life drain berserk. The tile was borrowed from many player's spells animations. The caster is orc because these spells are used by monsters. What do you think about this idea?

hehe i didnt think any others have used those tiles or had made spell demo animations other then me  ;),

ever since i made the other demo animations i wanted to do creature spells :P

...wow its almost been a year since i was last logged on here and was workin on stuff for wiki.

i hope to get back into it some time soon :)

just how in the other animations theres the oldman mage for the mage spells and the basic knight for the knight spells :D

tho would be epic if it was a rat for the mascot of monster spells instead XD

like i said i found it real kool that someone else is making them too, because it sucks when theres only one guy doing it and if said person has some stuff going on irl like work etc. the work gets put up on the shelf for who knows how long...

I agree with you it is better to spread the workload, but I think it is quite difficult to make them. I know how to make animated gifs, but how to do such a large area, I dunno. For creature spells, an orc or a rat wouldn't be my first choices. You must think, what really represents a creature? lol, the rat sounds kinda funny, but it wouldn't look really serious. The orc looks a bit strange, maybe the caster should be a minotaur mage :P
