It looks similar to Cyclops Drone to me but with 2 arms only, I have questions, did it failed? you have to wait or why the screenshot doesn't show it in the final phase? Are phases on this image correct:

you can only use it one time. i guess its a random chance for it to carve correctly but it doesn't "break" like an ice cube, it just stays incomplete. Also I think the flavour text would be different if it was actually complete, the flavor text on it atm would be for the unfinished state.jigarbov
