When i greed him with "hi" he just answears "Groar" and goes away.
The frog NPC in Eclesius' mission, did the same, and only answered on "Rabit" (or sth), so maby there is a special word to talk with the bear. Genco 11:12, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Cip has been lazy doing rpg npcs, that npc must be part of some quest that nobody knows. (New orcs npc don't speak orshish, New elves npc don't speak elvish, CIP quit RPG long time ago.

Well it seems Ben is the pet of Grizzly Adams so I think that NPC its just there for RPG factor.

I just found out that if you type 'ham', he says 'Groar.', but stops after saying it a few times, and then carries on after a while. Heres the chat log (Default BTW):
