Damage

Regarding the edits made by Offää: I have spend over 20 hours at behemoths since the latest patch, and I have never had them hit 510 MELEE on me. They have done 500+ combos, but never a single melee hit was that high. Seeing I was there on a sorcerer, I'm sure my armor didnt block a significant part of the damage.

Giant?

I can't see why juggernauts are placed in the Demon category, while behemoths are not. Those are pretty similar to each other, being huge demon allies favouring large two handed weapons, but without magical attacks. One of them needs to change category, and I am convinced that the behemoth should move.

I'm sure a behemoth is an earth giant, just like an massive earth elemental. Not a Demon. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 09:35, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Earth? You think he's related to earth just because he's brown and throws rocks? PLEASE. Lets add orcs to bio elementals while we're at it...

Behemoths are giant monsters that live in the ancient town deep below Edron. They look a bit like cross-breeds of humans and bulls and even talk in human language, but nobody knows yet where they come from. Although they are of minor intelligence, they are very strong fighters and throw huge stones at their opponents.

It varies from culture to culture. Behemoths can be related to demons, but they're usually just gigantic monsters. And following what it says on Tibia's bestiary, it isn't a demon or an elemental. It's just a very strong, big and dense monster. So, Giant.

Earth? You think he's related to earth just because he's brown and throws rocks? Yes, I do. Don't act like I'm stupid, that's the best criteria for earth I've ever heard. He looks a bit like a Massive Earth Elemental. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 11:07, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

I would say that Juggernaut be in the demons category because of it's habitat, in the depths of the pits of inferno everything is a demon, as for giants, the category is suitable being that he is giant, but I've never really heard of them being geo-elementals.. -- Sixorish 02:13, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

I disagree, it looks like a juiced up cyclopse where-as juggernauts actually do look like a demonic being... --Elgarel Kator 05:32, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Invalid Behavior?

Well, I don't know if this is the case but I just went to liberty bay bhs with a friend of mine and he lured the behes while I would sio him and do some damage. Though, out of nowhere the behe retargeted. I was standing close to him though, maybe they retarget when close? M1n054 18:34, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

The behavior says they will not RETREAT (even if it's spelt "reatreat" there). They retarget every now and then (always have done so) and you don't have to stand close for them to retarget.

improved loot (spring patch 2012)

19:16 Loot of a behemoth: a double axe, 83 gold coins, 5 platinum coins

with the latest spring patch, improved loot on behes that i've noticed is more platinums than before.

Have you noticed any change with frequency of rares? I've blocked these for a friend twice since the patch and we were largely disappointed with the loot. The statistics suggest there was a change as well although the sample size is not large enough to conclude anything. (on the other hand, I hear other people have been looting more rares than before ...) -- Sixorish 06:46, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

I haven't had any loot luck with rares, however I think the double axe drop rate increased a bit. I just hunt a single spawn however, but I haven't looted any rares since patch. Salty Giraffe 08:20, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

09:07 Loot of a behemoth: a giant sword, 49 gold coins, a great health potion, 3 platinum coins

A friend pasted this in English chat. For some reason the GS changed positions in the loot. I'm 100% sure that the GS was at the end of the loot (i.e. last in the loot msg) which suggests at least something has changed with it. -- Sixorish 07:11, April 10, 2012 (UTC)

I started a new Behemoth task after the update. I'm a 206 Master so I can get about 3-6 on me in Cyclopolis and just avalanche them down. I killed about 125 - not a single rare. I did notice an increase in the number of assassin stars, behemoth fangs, battle stones, and platinum coins. I am pretty disappointed though - I should have at LEAST seen one Giant Sword.
