Tombs and Templates[]

I'm trying to start a full description of the Tombs (my main hunting space). Of course, I only know some levels in some tombs. The other info has been obtained from other articles, sites and Tibicams.

I'll be glad to read your comments about it. Maybe some template can be used or maybe a Tombs/Subtomb page would be necessary.

Please let me know before continue :D

Also, in the Item given from a Pharaoh, I don't if it a good idea put it there since it's a spoiler for a Quest.

As far as quest spoiling goes, the exact location of the tombs is technically quest spoiling.

About a template: Obviously it is best to use templates whenever possible, but I'm not sure the tombs lend themselves to templates very well. Did you have any specific ideas for the template?

Feel free to use the Playground to try stuff out. I'll also try to come up with something unless you beat me to it.

It's alright to leave some information out. If you simply don't know, then either leave it blank, or put a "?". Someone else will probably fill it in, or you can later on.

Hunt Template[]

Is it better to have the hunt template only on this article, on all separate tomb articles, or both? I first thought it would be best to put the template only here, because putting it on every separate tomb would give much double info (all tombs have same lvl requirements and stuff). But it will make the hunt list ugly if every tomb has the hunting place category but not the template. ^^ Bennie (talk ~ fellows) ^^ 20:48, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Maps[]

Just to keep track of it myself, and maybe it's useful for others if I do not finish it.

Themes[]

Has anyone else noticed the themes of each of the tombs?

Ancient Ruins TombVashresamunVashresamun's Chorus LaneMusicMany banshees on the way; musical instruments are the key to entering the pharaoh room.
Tarpit TombMorguthisMorguthis' ArenaMazePacman room, deathslicer maze, and more?
Stone TombThalasThalas' Venomous PitPoisonMany slimes, giant spiders and ancient scarabs on the way; cobra-shaped room en route to pharaoh; can only enter pharaoh room while poisoned.
Mountain TombDipthrahDipthrah's SanctuaryDivinity? Many priestesses on the final tomb floor; boss summons many priestesses and he is immune to physical damage.
Peninsula TombOmrucOmruc's Outlook?InvisibilityMany stalkers on the way; boss summons tons of stalkers and turns invisible; invisible walls en route to boss.
Oasis TombRahemos?Magic?Liches, beholders, djinns and warlocks on the way to the pharaoh. Pharaoh is very magic-oriented and has a lot of quotes about magic. Seems to conflict with library tomb though with the 40~ magicthrowers en route to pharaoh ...
Ankrahmun Library TombAshmunrah?None??

I find it interesting how they designed these tombs, and maybe it has some additional meaning. -- Sixorish 13:47, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

Did you notice this because of the number of monsters I added? :D I don’t think it has any deeper meaning, those are just themes so the tombs are more immersive. But I really hate those themes, I mean seriously, who wants to hunt in the stalker hell aka Peninsula Tomb? :< NeWsOfTzzz 14:55, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

The first time I noticed it is when a friend took me to Mahrdis to test which fields they walk over as part of the TibiaWiki:Field Project. I never noticed a dragon in a tomb before and the amount of FEs in there was unusually high as well. Then I remembered of Vashresamun and when came the time to test Thalas, a friend mentioned at the room with Cobra (NPC) that it had a map representing a cobra: mapper link to that floor. I then tried to piece them all together and there indeed appears to be a theme for all tombs (except Ashmunrah?).

I don't think you'd hunt at somewhere based on its theme, really. Peninsula tomb is a good place to hunt at low/mid levels with area runes because there are plenty of other stuff besides those stalkers: it's just one way to connect tomb creatures to the pharaoh at the end.

Some parts of the HotA quest still confuse me. Like where did the order for the Vashresamun musical instruments come from? What about the Dipthrah door puzzle? Rahemos' hat trick? If my mathematics is correct then there are more than 50,000 possible combinations if we assume each instrument can be used just once. 50,000 is too much for one person to test, there has to be a clue somewhere. -- Sixorish 16:06, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, of course there are clues. People probably found them in the books in Ankrahmun. In one book for example you can find clues where you can find the hidden tombs - so I guess there are also clues for the stuff you mentioned. -- NeWsOfTzzz 22:05, September 27, 2011 (UTC)
