Overview
In the 8.1 update, new public beaches have opened throughout Tibia. Now characters can safely take a dip in the sea. This opens up the ability to play new games, like Water Polo.
Another benefit of swimming, is that it puts out fire, neutralizes electricity, cleanses poison, clears the senses, counteracts curses, soothes frostbite, revives a drunk as well as clearing other Special Conditions. The cleansing salt water can also clean the hands of a player who wishes to unwrap furniture packages, but does not wish to dirty his house.
Swimming is a protection zone and can not be entered if you are skulled or have attacked/killed somebody.
Free Account Swimming Zones
- Dawnport: south-east of the island.
- Rookgaard: southeast of the temple. This zone contains a Water Polo field, here.
- Thais: south of the tunnel that leads to Fibula, here.
Premium Account Swimming Zones
- Ankrahmun: east of the east gate, here.
- Banuta: at the waterfalls high above The Blind Prophet. This zone contains 2 waterfalls that you can fall in. This is a part of the Waterfall Quest, here.
- Cormaya: southwest corner of the island, here.
- Darashia: directly south of Miraia's bar, here.
- Edron: river between Stonehome and Cyclopolis just north of the mountain (part of Troll Sabotage Quest), here.
- Liberty Bay: at the beach to the north. This zone contains a jumping tower and a Water Polo field, here.
- Meluna: northeast corner of the island, here.
- Meriana: inside the house Meriana Beach, here.
- Rathleton: on the highest floor of the Bronze Brothers Bastion, here.
- Yalahar: in the basement of Halls of Serenity guildhall, here.
