Was implemented at the Winter Update 2011.
It is a "baby" Swarmer and can be seen by using a Swarmer Drum to summon one.
Use a Flask of Dissolved Chitin on it to "feed" it then it will "burrow" back to Orockle for the "Dissolve Chitin" mission in the the War Against The Hive Quest.
