Status Conditions are temporary states that affect players or creatures in some way. All status conditions are indicated by an icon in the character's Status Bar, below the Inventory. Most of them are undesirable.

Condition Effect
Bleed Icon.gif Bleeding A bleeding character takes damage over time. The bleeding state can be cured by using the Cure Bleeding spell, waiting, or talking to certain NPCs.
Burning Icon.gif Burning A burning character takes damage over time. Burning can be cured by Cure Burning spell, waiting, swimming or talking to certain NPCs.
Cursed Icon.gif Cursed A cursed character takes damage over time. Curses can be cured by Cure Curse spell, eventually curses go away on their own.
Dazzled Icon.gif Dazzled A dazzled character takes damage over time. The dazzled state will eventually go away on it's own.
Drowning Icon.gif Drowning A drowning character takes damage over time. A character who is not underwater will stop drowning after a while, but characters under water should wear a Helmet of the Deep.
Drunk.gif Drunk A drunk character will sometimes step in a direction other than the intended one. Drunkenness will eventually go away on it's own.
Electrified Icon.gif Electrified An electrified character takes damage over time. The electrified state can be cured by Cure Electrification spell, waiting, swimming, or talking to certain NPCs.
Feared Icon.gif Feared When feared, a character will start moving away from the creature that applied the effect and won't be able to use any spells or items. This effect cannot be removed and has to be worn off.
Freezing Icon.gif Freezing A freezing character slowly takes damage over time. The freezing state will eventually go away on it's own.
Goshnar's Taints 5 Icon.png Goshnar's Taints There are 5 different Taints that a character can stack for different harmful effects while in the Soul War Quest areas.
Haste Icon.gif Haste Haste makes the affected character move faster while it lasts.
Hexed Icon.png Hexed A hexed character will be weakened. Hexes can either be lesser, intense or greater.
Hungry Icon2.png Hungry If a player can still eat any food then they are Hungry.
Logout Block Icon.gif Logout Block Logout block is caused by fighting and prevents a character from logging out. The logout block will eventually go away on it's own.

A character with a magic shield will lose mana instead of health when hurt.
Poisoned Icon.gif Poisoned A poisoned character takes damage over time. The poisoned state can be cured by using the Cure Poison or rune, waiting, or talking to certain NPCs.
Protection Zone Block Icon.gif Protection Zone Block A character who attacked another player has this icon. It indicated he recently attacked or killed another player and cannot log out or be in a Protection Zone.
Rooted Icon.gif Rooted When rooted, a character will not be able to move for 3 seconds. This effect cannot be removed and has to be worn off.
Slowed Icon.gif Slowed A slowed character will move much slower. The slowed state can be removed by using any healing spell or waiting.
Strengthened Icon.gif Strengthened Indicates that one or several skills of the character have been raised for a certain time period or if a healing spell is active for a certain time period.
Within Protection Zone Icon.gif Within Protection Zone A character inside a Protection Zone has this icon. The icon indicates he or she cannot be attacked or attack someone, be it a monster or a player.
Within Active Resting Area Icon.png Within Active Resting Area A character inside a Resting Area has this icon if he or she has at least one Resting Area bonus active.
Within Resting Area Icon.png Within Resting Area A character inside a Resting Area has this icon if he or she doesn't have any Resting Area bonus active.


Skull Type Meaning
White Skull.gif White Skull A character with a white skull has recently attacked an unskulled player.
Red Skull.gif Red Skull A character with a red skull has killed several unskulled characters in a certain amount of time. He or she will lose all items on death, even if an Amulet of Loss is equipped.
Black Skull.gif Black Skull A character with a black skull has killed several unskulled characters in a certain amount of time.
Green Skull.gif Green Skull A character with a green skull is a member of your party. Party members can be attacked without recieving a skull.
Yellow Skull.gif Yellow Skull Only players with white or red skulls see yellow skulls, and they appear over characters that have attacked the skulled character. This way, characters with white or red skulls can defend themselves without further penalty.
Party Status Meaning
Party Member.gif Member Indicates that the character is a part of your party.
Party Invited.gif Invited Indicates that the character has been invited to join your party.
Party Leader.gif Leader Indicates that the character is your party's leader.
Party Inviter.gif Inviter Indicates that the player has invited you to a party.
