These are summoned by Slime. They are a weaker version of it. The only wild spawns of this creatures are conditioned to the state of The Mummy's Curse World Change.

Same as Slime.
A squidgy slime attacks in melee range. A squidgy slime never retreats.
Strategy
Just attack it, it's about as strong as a Nomad.
History
Spawns of this creature were only added with The Mummy's Curse World Change on Summer Update 2011. Prior to this update, they could only be found as summons of Slimes.
They used to be called Slimes before the Winter Update 2016. This made it impossible to differentiate them from ordinary slimes.
