A spirit of water attacks in melee range. A spirit of water never retreats.
Strategy
Treat it like a strong water elemental. For all vocations it is wise to use a Helmet of the Deep since this will block the drown damage.
Mages: Run around using an energy wand/death rod shooting energy strike. Heal often. Without Helmet of the Deep, use Magic Shield and kill with SD as fast as you can, or you will be dead very quickly.
Knights: Melee and Exori trying to keep your HP constantly full.
Paladins: Use a Shield and Ethereal Spear, bring plenty UHs.
