If you can remove the rust layer and dirt from the armor you will be able to see what it is.
Notes
Using a rust remover will yield one of the following:
- Brass Armor
- Plate Armor
- Knight Armor
- Crown Armor (semi-rare)
- Paladin Armor (rare)
- Golden Armor (very rare)
Unrusting Statistics
There is high chance that the armor will break. Use a rust remover to un-rust the armor. This Rusty Armor gives the best chance of getting a rare item. It was initially thought that Magic Plate Armors or Dragon Scale Mails were also available by unrusting the armor, but this has proven to be false.
Successfully polishing this item will count towards the Polisher achievement.
History
In a small patch the weight was changed from 100.00 oz to 120.00 oz on November 10, 2009.
On June 12, 2019, its name was changed from Rusty Armor to the current one, and the sprite was also updated.
