As suggested by Who built the Shrine of Wonders? (Book), the Shrine of Wonders is of ancient and unknown origin and functions as a small hub for three wonders, as the name implies. To enter the Shrine of Wonders one must carry a Holy Tible and have premium, or else you will not be able to get past the force field that blocks the entrance.
