Priestess.gif
You see a priestess.
  • Your energy is mine.
  • Now your life is come to the end, hahahaha!
  • Throw the soul on the altar!

Notes

Priestesses came to Edron together with the monks. They are also followers of the evil god Zathroth but they roam the dungeons instead of having a home. Like the monks, they will fiercely attack every intruder into their holy realm. They are weak fighters, but have a lot of magic abilities. They shoot magic missiles at their enemies and drain mana off them, summon ghouls as reinforcements, and heal themselves.

These strong creatures are similar to Necromancers. They can summon the undead as well.

Spoiler warning: Quest and/or game spoiling details follow. (Settings: hidden content)
You may hunt 4000 of these along with Necromancers, Blood Hands, Blood Priests and Shadow Pupils as a task for Lugri. Upon completion of the task you will face Necropharus. The task can be repeated several times but only grants you 40,000 experience points from the second time and onwards.
Spoiler ends here.

Behaviour

Priestesses attack enemies from distance.

Strategy

If you are planning to use runes, Explosions are a good choice because Priestesses are weak to Physical Damage. Also, beware of the Mana Drain ability. Bronze Amulets can be helpful if you're going to hunt them. A Priestess will drain an average of 100 mana per hit, which can be very annoying.
