Powerful Strike is an imbuement that can be applied to items of type Axes, Swords, Clubs, Wands, Rods, Bows, Crossbows. When applied, it raises crit hit damage by 50% and crit hit chance by 10%.

When imbuing an item with Powerful Strike, the following items are expended:
20× Protective Charm, 25× Sabretooth, 5× Vexclaw Talon

This imbuement may not be applied to Cobra Wand, Deepling Fork, or Lion Rod
On weapons which are part of the Soul Set, this imbuement can be applied but it only increases the extra damage (from 10% to 60%). The intrinsic crit chance of the weapon is only displayed as (10%) and not (+10%), and thus the chances of getting a critical hit remain at 10% even when imbued.
The ability to apply this imbuement can be obtained by finishing the Heart of Destruction Quest or by finishing the Forgotten Knowledge Quest.
