There is nothing that pleases the dreaded Plaguesmiths more than rot and decay. These cowardly demons are constantly scheming and plotting to bring despair and diseases to the world of the mortals. They enjoy the painful torments their poisons and plagues inflict on other beings. They rely on a disgusting diet that consists of poisonous, morbid and corrosive fluids. Their main capability lies in the creating of poisons and plagues as well as to transform usually insubstantial things like despair, pain and agony into substantial tools and weapons. Although their physique makes them powerful fighters, their inherent cowardice prohibits them to rise in the ranks of demon kind. They tend to use others to do the dirty work and operate behind the scenes. More often though, they end up forced into the service of a more powerful creature. Still they are rarely seen in the realm of men. More often they stay in the realm of demons and supply their masters and servants alike with new weapons to spread poison and sickness.


Melee (0-400) poisons you up to 10 hp/turn, Paralyze-Ball, Poison Ball (60-114), Strong Haste, Small Poison Wave does Life Drain (100-350), Self-Healing (slow, 200-280).

A plaguesmith will retreat at 330 to 2474 (4% - 29.99%, red) health.


Solo: shoot Energy Walls to make it walk around and not get to you (Mages and Paladins), but be careful with its Haste and strong Paralysis. Mages should use Energy spells and Sudden Death Runes due to their large health pool. Also, it's recommended to find a part of the terrain that you can trap the Plaguesmith in, as it can run very fast in low health.
Teams: The Knight should use the Challenge spell when it's near red health to make sure it doesn't run away.


They used to drop Dragon Scale Mails as a rare drop, but it got removed shortly after Plaguesmiths were introduced.
Its experience was decreased from 4500 to 1350 with the first batch of changes of Update 12.31. It was increased to 3555 with the second batch.
