Pillars are sometimes used as replacement for walls, usually for decoration.

Blood Basin Blood Basin.gif It's a basin on top of a pole in which blood is stored.
Bone Totem Bone Totem.gif A pillar made of bones.
Cake (Pillar) Cake (Pillar).gif Some of these appear once a year during the A Piece of Cake World Quest, but cannot be eaten (as opposed to Cake (Wall)). They only serve to hold up the higher layers of the cake.

Copper Roof Copper Roof.gif Usually found covering some Pencil Towers.
Crystal Column (Faceted) Crystal Column (Faceted).gif
Crystal Column (Factory) Crystal Column (Factory).gif Can be green, red, light blue or dark blue.
Crystal Column Crystal Column.gif Crystal Columns appear to change colors every now and then, but in fact when they change color they become a different object. They come in red (8874), dark blue (8875), light blue (8876) and green (8877).
