Noob Set is a term often used to collectively refer the equipment a player first upgrades to upon leaving Rookgaard. A typical Noob Set is shown at right. Depending on weapon type preference, a Barbarian Axe, Scimitar, or Bow may be substituted. As a player improves his skills, gains some levels and saves more money, he will consider upgrading to the Plate Set. Wearing a "Noob Set" does not necessarily imply that a player is a "noob," merely that he either cannot yet afford better equipment, or that due to his low level, it would not be practical to carry better equipment. |
