Notes
Mummies are undead monsters that can be found in the ancient pyramids and ruins in the north of Tibia. No one knows where they come from, but they guard the burial chambers and attack every adventurer trying to get the legendary treasures. Their scaring sight can paralyze the bravest fighters, and they try to drain life energy off their shocked victims. Be aware of their poisonous daggers!
Be careful as a low level because they can use quite heavy paralyze sometimes. Mummies are worth the trouble though because of their relatively good loot.
Abilities
Damage Taken From Elements
Location
Drefia, Darama's Dark Pyramid, Draconia, Mount Sternum Undead Cave, Green Claw Swamp, Venore Amazon Camp underground, Helheim, Upper Spike, all Tombs, Dark Cathedral, Lion's Rock.
Behaviour
Mummies fight until death.
A mummy attacks in melee range.
Strategy
A good strategy for distance fighters hunting this monster (druids, sorcerers, or paladins) is this: If you are paralyzed, and can still move about as fast as the mummy, continue running it until either the paralyze wears off or it paralyzes you again. One exura will cancel out all paralysis. However, obstructions or lag can result in the mummy catching up and attacking the player. GFBs and explosions are useful in case of a tight situation.
History
Although the sprites for mummy were implemented on Update 6.0, the first known spawns of this creature were only implemented with Draconia on the Update 6.2.
