The following table shows a comparison of various items providing Mana and how much they cost. The last column is the focus: lower values means more efficient. See the bottom of this page for more notes on usage.

For this table take in consideration that:

• You will use rings completly.
• Rings of Healing will usually cost 800 to 1 000 gp from players.
• Life Rings will usually cost 500 to 700 gp each from players.
• You will hardly get vials of manafluid now.

If you're going to use one of these while hunting, please notice the fact that Life Ring, Ring of Healing, Pair of Soft Boots, Terran Rainbow Shield, Great Spirit Potion and Ultimate Spirit Potion also regenerate your **hitpoints** which may make them more efficient than certain kind of **mana** potions considering overall gain of mana and hit points.

If you're "burning" mana potions to advance your magic level rapidly (and selling back the vials), the difference between the smallest and largest mana potions enlarges. On the other hand, if you're hunting and throwing away the vials, the difference is slightly smaller.

Further Notes

When considering the "best" option for mana regeneration, cost alone is simply one factor. When taking Capacity Taken per Mana Point into account (to free up more capacity for loot, rings, runes etc.) you may find that options which are slightly worse for your money are actually better overall. For example, Life Rings (bought at shop price) are more expensive than Strong Mana Potions for your mana, but can be used at the same time and will increase the length of your hunts.
