There are two places on/near the Formorgar Glacier where you can hunt Mammoths. One is west of Svargrond, near The Bloodtusks lair. The other one is south-west of the city and has more Mammoths.
To reach the smaller Mammoth hunting area you can take two routes.
- Walk west from Svargrond, cross a small bridge and levitate up 5 times here
- Walk north from Svargrond by going up two ramps here and walk west to a frozen waterfall here. Levitate up 3 times.
To reach the bigger Mammoth area you can also take two routes.
- Walk west from Svargrond, cross a small bridge and go up a ramp here. This is the fastest route.
- Find Buddel in the south of Svargrond here and ask him for a passage to the raider camp. He will take you here for 50 gp. From there walk north and go up a ramp here.
It is a good idea to find Grizzly Adams in Port Hope and ask him for a task to hunt mammoths, before hunting Mammoths. Optionally you could combine the mammoth task with the Badger task, since they can be found in the bigger Mammoth area.
